  1. Thats what caught my eye, there were three, this one, a freightliner FLDSD set back axle, one of my favorites, and a Kenworth, all the same paint all the same load. They where out of New Brunswick.
  2. Good try, valiant efffort!!! Believable? Hysterical....
  3. Just realized that it was you that posted this http://www.jeffwidme...oryBroFINAL.pdf this was a good read.
  4. Call you what?
  5. They don't get that truck started soon, the poor boy is going to have a hunch back and buck teeth!!!
  6. Rob, I think that might do it !!
  7. No, that happens when you marry one.
  8. That really does look clean, look at the frame rails. That was like the first truck I ever drove, Maxidine 5 speed cabover, sleeper, box trailer, maybe 75? lost years.
  9. Wow, alot of incredible cars, lots of Dodge/Mopar drivers in the day. Hate to admit it,but,my first car,64 American Motors Classic 4 door, on the up side, it was $75.00 and the back seat got more ass then a toilet seat. (Vinny that means I turned it into a taxi) went through the muscle car thing, nothing factory, 57 chevys with vette motors, camaros, chevelle, then the new VW beatle, 73 I think it was $1995.00 $300.00 down $60.00 a month for 2 years. Gas was .27 cents and just jumped to .32 thats when my driving career began, worked at a saw mill and every week end the girlfriend and I would go somewhere, as far as we could go in a day, and then come back the next.
  10. Never happen, there is no need of it as easy as it is to unhook a gooseneck. Makes me sick to see a trailer all twisted when people load from the side, and it rolls the edges of the beam.
  11. Perfect, and not far from home, I think I just bought a new one, Talbert 55 ton 26' deck, tri, 4th capable, aluminum wheels 18" deck hrgn. Will know Monday night, hope to be on the road again a week from Monday 3/26
  12. umodelnut, you stay away from those national geographics, your learning too much.
  13. saw a big sign today at a local corner store MILK $4.00 a gallon, right above it, DIESEL $4.28 a gallon, just not right. Milk is regulated. When diesel was $5.00, oil was $150.00 a barrel, now it's $4.28 and $104.00 a barrel. No rhyme to it. Just gouging, here gouging there.
  14. Spot has to show up more often, must be tired, got a long hard laugh out of that photo and caption. Thanks
  15. And so the "SWIFT" story begins.
  16. I saw that on the "relief" map.
  17. I saw the stone work and though Pa. Love the sign, wonder what they sold upstairs where he just couldn't wait?
  18. SO thats how baby macks are made!!!! I feel dirty looking.

  20. I've been waiting for a post on how the turbo and injectors helped? So what is your opinion on the mods you did?
  21. The Diesel Store can get you one they are in the U.S. you might have to call them they don't list them for Mack but they do have them. Also STEINBAUER Tuning Technologies Inc. Halifax Station 364 Crompton Street Charlotte NC 28273 Phone 704-587-0856 Fax 704-587-0896 Free Call: 1 877 886 4649 Email usa@steinbauer.cc I called them today, they have them in stock. Same price everywhere. This is the Corprate office and they have them thereThey have a 30 free trial, 3 year warranty
  22. Anybody have Steinbauer box on their truck? Any difference? I've looked their site over, they seem to be ligit, Pittsburg Power does it for Cummins and Cat so can't see why it wouldn't work for a compuerized Dog. I have 480+ hp and 1660 torque so Mack says, this would give me 552hp and 1992 torque so Steinbauer says, Believable? They aren't cheap, 2250.00
  23. You got that right, as soon as I bought my truck, everyone sold out for cheap, I could have bought anything. Now I need a trailer, all there are out there are 50 ton 24' decks, the 55 tons are 68k, 6 years old and beat. Your right, if I buy one, they'll be all along the road, 2011's 26' decks 55 ton 55k obo. Choice of brand and color, free flip axle. Just got my insurance quote, $9267.48 maybe I should sell pencils on the corner. Maybe the unemployed aren't so stupid, it's that damn pride that gets yah.
  24. I had a tri trailer and tandem truck. I was permited 18k each rear axle and was over on them, thats why I moved forward. I don't remember what my friend had for permits, wasn't enough though. You get the weight if you got the permit. The guy I hauled for always cut it close to save a few bucks. He did know his machines and weights.
