  1. I was talking to a friend yesterday who was pissed because his dealership told him combines were going up $30000 this year due to tariffs on steel. His bitch was there isn’t $30K worth the steel on it as it sits now.
  2. Neat truck. I’ve never heard of that brand before.
  3. Good for him, hopefully he puts on many more trouble free miles.
  4. Same dumbasses who just had a huge power grid failure in the heat recently want to tax there crummy power grid more?! Makes sense if you live in la la land. All the big wind farms near me are supplementing California from what I’ve been told. I hate that state. They are the biggest consumers, polluters and the biggest hypocrites on this earth.
  5. Well then somebody has some explaining to do. If it really has 400k miles more than what they said they probably owe you some money back.
  6. That’s good to hear.
  7. Post the info which should be on a tag on the door or stamped in the frame behind the passenger side spring hanger. Then someone could tell you everything about the truck as long as it has not been changed.
  8. Would be awful tough with the load meters and the unload meter not matching.
  9. Yep and Dad like most of the Cummins fans weren’t excited when they went to the 24 valve in ‘98. Mileage was still decent but got better with a tuner. Like I said earlier he was very disappointed with his 6.7 until he did the delete. I’d really like to repower on of my older vehicles with the new Cummins R2.8l which is the replacement for the 4bt. It’s 300 pounds lighter than the 4bt has (if I’m remembering the article correctly) 167hp and I think around 270tq. Cummins gave the crew at Peterson’s 4WOR Magazine a few to put into jeeps and pickups and the Cummins engineers were actually with them on a lot of the trips checking out the motor and in different situations and the motor did phenomenal. No emissions on it and it’s only offered as a turn key crate motor for $10k. http://www.fourwheeler.com/features/1710-beta-testing-the-r2-8-diesel-with-cummins/
  10. My dad has a small fleet of Cummins powered dodge pickups. He bought a new one e first year the 6.7 came out and was really disappointed at the poor mileage. Had a shop do the dpf/egr delete and put a tuner on it and runs the tuner on the 2nd hp setting and gets over 20 mpg again like the older engines and has gobs of power. Never heard of him having any problems with heat issues and he puts the truck to work a lot.
  11. From what I gather you have to go back to each individual thread where you posted a picture and delete it to make room.
  12. Going to have to wait until I get home to post more pics. I’m at my limit and I have found no reasonable way to delete old pics from my profile. The only way I think I could do it is gonna onto every single thread I put a picture in and delete it. I can’t just go to My Attachments on my profile and delete them there which would be fast and easy. If anyone knows a better way please let me know and I’ll post some more pics. Thanks.
  13. I think so and they still mine a fair bit in southern Montana you just never see it for sale any where close to me. 4-5 hours away I think is the closest. None of the farrier supply stores carry it anymore around here either.
  14. I’d love to get some coal for my forge. It’s hard to come by in northern Montana.
  15. Gold mine in Montana. Can’t seem to get anymore pictures to load. I keep getting an error code. Will try again soon.
  16. I saw a big dump truck i saw the top of the big shovel that loaded the dump truck
  17. I see triples going up and down the freeway. I pull an a train that’s 102’ oal. Granted there are some freeways like kansas and Nebraska that weren’t built heavy enough for more than 5axle 80k rigs but you can still parallel with the freeway through them with heavier loads. I did it with 7 axle cattle trucks for years.
  18. Oof that is an ugly truck. A farmer has a later model conventional model in my area and it looks good. A lot like a. W900 or. 379 in a lot of ways.
  19. My dad always says you can build a shop twice as big as you need and it still won’t be big enough.
  20. Looking good Bob.
  21. Oh I thought he was trying to figure out how to put a Detroit in the FWD.
  22. I buy cars from a body shop who buys lightly damaged cars and will seek them outright or fix the, if you'd like cheap. Bought two cars from him and he's been very honest told me even after a month of me owni g a car from him he would take it back if I didn't like it to keep his reputation as an honest salesman. I bought a Taurus that was only a few years old with 75k on it for $3500 which was less than half of what it booked for at the time. The previous owner slid off the road and a delineator post slapped the top of the door where it meets the roof. Insurance totaled the car and I still use it as my commuter car for work. Other than regular maintenance I've put struts on it and we've put just under 100k miles on it since weve owned it.
  23. Might be something totally different but I drove a freight liner with the computer programmed to give you 475hp when the cruise was set and 450 or 425 when it wasn’t on. Supposedly it was thas encourage the use of the cruise control and that would hopefully lead to better mpg.
  24. I believe my b75 has both as well
