  1. 1Mack he was right when he said 20 ft. He just forgot to add the cab to that equation.
  2. Camerato has a good warranty and prices on Fullers. Rob
  3. He used to work these every day.
  4. I've seen them up by me. That's mineral sod on the trailer.
  5. Yea right things are different now just in the past 10-12 years. I remember leaving the yard and going down 287 and looking like a douchbag with the fender bouncing up and down and geting stares.
  6. Remember at one time Mack never had a 46 camelback that is a fairly new thing. The 44's were all cracking the housings when triaxles became popular in NJ. I was still working for Mack back then. The guys were going to 50's and 52's and not having anymore problems. Then Mack came out with the 46 and most guys are running that now. Even the 52's are wearing out fast and Joe Gulino had to do work on his suspensions. The 58's on the RD tandems you never had a problem with. Rob
  7. Make him an offer Matt. He's getting $16,500.00. It's going to need new frame rails,A frame and a clutch. He's had it for 3 years so he's made his money with it. He wants another tri axle already has a deposit on one.
  8. Matt two different outfits. Gulino is exporting the 88 RD. The wrecked RD is L.DeMarino's and it was totalled and he bought it back and is taking some parts off for the Frahley truck and the rest is going for export.
  9. These pics are cute. Same truck. I lived in Suffern at the time and our yard was down the street in Mahwah. It would take me 3 minutes to get to the yard. In that 3 minutes Leslie hooked a 5 foot chain the the 98 RD next to mine to pull jump it to start. Well needles to say I came in to this. I was working on site at Norvartis in East Hanover NJ he says to me you gotta go! I said how! He gave me three bungee cords tied down the hood and I drove it like that for two weeks until the truck could go in for the new hood. I had this truck spotless this was heartbreaking. I wouldn't do this today run a truck like that.
  10. That truck was my old truck when I drove for Leslie. I had it when it was still new. It is a mid 99 with the first of the Etech 350's with an 8ll, 58's, 18 front big rubber and 5:02 rears. It is totalled now. His driver a month ago drove into the back of his other Granite tandem couldn't stop. It is being exported for the rest of the parts. That is why he bought the Frahley RD. That truck has been in 3 accidents. There nis a lot of damage to that truck. I can try to get the pic from the accident and you can see more of the carnage.
  11. Yea Mark South got it all on these two storms. Got called at 3:20am to be in at 5:30. Never stuck on RT 17. One interesting observation no pre treating with brine so far this year. Just doubling up on salt. Breen has two trucks doing our section hammering all day. Anybody notice the interior shot? It's a black interior with carpeting. Was special ordered from Trenton Mack and the guy never took the truck. That's the 01 tandem I'm driving for plowing. We had about 3 inches on the secondary roads and lawns.
  12. I've had tailgates not open with pressure on them hauling wet shit. I've been up in the air a few times in my life.
  13. Some random pics today. Got knocked off at 1:30 doing nothing. Had to take the plow off and go to Clifton and run a load of dirt.
  14. Jersey hasn't changed the law yet for tandems and triaxles. Just for lowboys. Rob
  15. MACKS isn't it just the pressure controls on the outside? I heard this too no overweigght permit unless it is steerable.
  16. All of Joe Gulino's tri axles have 52's.
  17. Anybody who knows the crew I work with would know that long periods of idle time creates chaos.
  18. The Fraley truck was just bought by Leslie for $36,000.00. 400 with 8ll. The RD is going it is a nice truck but has some frame issues needs new rails and clutch issues. He has other reasons to get rid of her. It is a 300 w/jake, 6 speed airshift heavy 44's. The truck is all new. Looks better now that pic was taken last winter. He's making money on it even with exporting her. I have to be in again at 5:30. I still have my own jobs to do the storms aren't helping me. Don't get me wrong guys doing nothing is ok but there are just so many unethical things you can do in 11 hours.
  19. Found out last night going on the boat to parts unknown.
  20. Really?? We got nothing only some freezing rain. Central and South Jersey got 10 inches. 11 hours doing nothing. It;s hard doing nothing. Rob
  21. I knew somebody who had that ac unit on the back of the cab between the seats of a DM 800.
  22. You don't factor fuel economy on a dump truck.
  23. Lee the Allison retarder I drove had a problem and worked good on the low rpms but didn't do shit at high speed. I also drove a Granite with an Allsion and it had a Jake and that worked pretty good. I also ran a Western Star with a 6 speed Allison that had a 3 stage Pac Brake on a Series 60 Detroit which worked good. I still think the two combined would be a great combo.
  24. I drove a granite with an 427, 6 speed Allison with transmision retarder 58 rears on 11r24 big rubber.
