  2. Straight fives just don't do it for me.Two stick six I love I know basically the same. Rob
  3. There a place in South Jersey called Engine Distributors that is a big Deutz parts place. I got parts for my Deutz in my skid steer there. Cheers, Rob
  4. Drove quite a few Allisons in Macks and Western Stars. It's like driving a bus or fire truck. They were ok sometimes loaded the trans would take it's sweet time to drop a gear. The take off from a stop was pretty good. The Western Star had a 6 speed Allison world trans in her and it would only let you pre select down to 2nd gear. I was working out of Plaza Materials quarry at night on asphalt and there is a steep grade to the scale and in second with the Pac Brake on 3rd stage I still had to tap the brakes. I just don't like the truck running away like the autos do. Cheers, Rob
  5. Wow that's a big um.
  6. That's it. That was the one I saw on the NJ Turnpike one day. Rob
  7. Great pics!! I love the green Ultraliner and of course Superliners and the Internationals and Astros. You Canadians liked your Astros. Cheers, Rob
  8. Absolutely.
  9. Yea we would do that too especially if we were working on the doors. We always seemed to have to keep readjusting the hinges on those. You always wondered why your knees ached a the end of the day.
  10. Here's Kevin Cleary's Pete. Had a 300 Cat with exhaust brake and a 8LL with Reyco springs. Nice truck he sold it and it is now in Blooming Grove NY. Cheers, Rob
  11. Another pic when truck was new in 87 at Englishtown. Cheers, Rob
  12. I like the old Timberjack skidder. Rob
  13. I agree I still like the RD cab even though the knee with the window crank and air conditioner box but still it's cozy. Cheers, Rob
  14. That is beautiful newer than the 61/62 we had with the same bed on her. Rob
  15. The 12 speed is still my favourite trans.
  16. I sat in a new Scania that Franks GMC had at Englishtown. I didn't like the exhaust brake controlled by the brake pedal and I didn't like the shape of the gear lever. The rest of the truck was pretty cool.
  17. You're welcome BC. I hope you are able to acquire an import. That would be really cool. Super Show Rigs, com has a pic from last years Englishtown of their R Series if you want to check it out. Cheers, Rob
  18. Tim Supor is out of Harrison NJ.
  19. Nice. I like Valueliners. Cheers, Rob
  20. Cool. The truck to the outside used to be a McKee Bros tractor from Mahwah NJ. It had a 3502 valve Jake. two stick 12 speed and 44 rears that were beefed up. I use to drive it for a local excavator who bought it from ED. Fast truck. Was repainted gold and white. The other trucks were all FA Marchello trucks. Thanks for posting the pic. Cheers, Rob
  21. I've seen this truck he hauls precast sections too.
  22. Huh one of Supors trucks. Are you alive??
  23. So you were the one. I like the interior of it. More pics for Vinny. Cheers, Rob
  24. For patching I presume? Cool rig it reminds me of Bituminous from Blooming Grove NY. They have a lot of unusual rigs for shooting oil and micro paving. Cheers, Rob
