  1. Yes the women at the motor carriers unit are very nice and helpful. In and out usually. It's more time going down there than anything.

  5. So you're running the Dynatard on the E9 with the exhaust brake? That would be cool. I know in New Zealand the loggers that were running the CL's with E9's with Dynatards and Voith hydraulic retarders. I run a Brakes Systems Blue Ox on my International which is a Guillotine style exhaust brake which works a lot better than a butterfly type. Cheers, Rob

  8. The only difference is they usually had a DM grille on the front so this makes this truck a little unique with that R grille in her.

  11. Califon NJ. H e has a website. Very good fabricator especially with custom stuff.
  12. The Jake is derated for the exhaust brake on the Stealth system. I delivered a CL with a 454 and Stealth and wasn't impressed. Some Dynatards were better than others. Some Jakes were better than others. Every truck that rolled out of the factory were all a little different. Cheers, Rob

I've had conversations with some of the old timers in my area and I respect their opinion and they said with the 350's not too much with rack of the pump, injectors, etc. When I worked for Gulino he did the cam and mains on his 350 as well as the pump and it was probably putting out 400 or better. It made a difference. The truck ran like a raped ape for a tandem dump. Cheers, Rob

  17. I know on some imports from Canada we have to pay the 12% FET tax on some trucks. Maybe somebody else has more experience? Rob
  18. They are still in business. They run tri axles now. Each one has one truck. Peterbilts.
