    That would suck. We used to put the tarp up a little bit to keep shit off of the hood. You can hear it hit the bulkhead most of the time. I like it when you have a shadow with the sun or at night with the spots you can sort of see the outlines to follow. Cheers, Rob

    52'S aren't bad we ran them when I drove for Gulino in my tri axle. They wear out too though. More so than the 58's. Never had many problems with the tandems with the big rubber. Cheers, Rob

    Good explanation BC. Would the 6X2 tractors today in the UK be still considered the Chinese Six? I know 6x2 plus three on the trailer allows them 44 ton. I always liked UK tippers 8 leggers. Cheers, Rob

    It's just a single axle with a twin steer on the front. In the UK they are running a lot of 8X2 which is a single axle with tag and twin steer on the front because they have trouble on the country lanes getting into some of these places that were originally designed for horse and cart and probably Roman time when they occupies the UK.     So was I. That's more what I know is vocational. A guy that used to park next to me in Mahwah bought a new Autocar new style that was all Volvo. It had the 365 Volvo engine with exhaust brake, 8 speed direct Volvo sychro trans, 58 volvo rears on T ride. It must of had a ton of leafs on her! The truck had a Bristol Donald on her and was repoed and wound up by the Jersey Shore. This was back in 89, 90?

    Volvo T Ride is a very good and heavy suspension. I agree about the Rayden but never seen one in person. If I bought a Mack I would stick with Camelback but if I anted full lockers then I would opt for the T Ride. Rob

    Like th above response. 1/2 INCH plate for the main part and you can have everything mounted on that.
