  1. Awesome Diamond Reo I like the 6 inch straight pipe. I have some pics of Diamond Reos to post. Cheers, Rob
  2. I know when I worked for Gulino we changed the 2110B out to a T318 and by the time we were done he had spent over 10 grand with the labor. Made a world of difference in the 01 RD with the 460. The truck would get up and go better. The 2110B was the biggest piece of crap. The misfit of the Mack family for sure. Cheers, Rob
  3. The ACCO was a legendary truck down there. I like em. A lot of them had VT903's in them. The first pic of the Iveco is nice.Cheers, Rob
  4. 12 speeds are nice till they break and are expensive to fix. The 310M has it's share of problems. The T318 is better than the older 18. You would have to change the bell housing to go with a Mack trans. When I worked at Mack a lot of trucks were coming in with Fullers because Eaton had a better warranty than Mack at the time. Cheers, Rob
  5. Hee tell Mary we are making fun of him. The old Cat my old bosses family has you back under the belt. More challenging. Makes your clutch leg get big and strong.
  6. Some pics from today. They are milling and filling RT 17 North from Lodi NJ to the end of Paramus. They have three millers working this. These guys do a good job and their equipment is always immaculate. Cheers, Rob
  7. They haven't started here yet in Rockland/Bergen county. Supposed to be monumental. It doesn't matter where you are in the country if a girl is around a workplace with trucks or construction everybody is looking at her ass and it's like a universal thing. You know everybody is looking and thinking the same thing. Rob
  8. I don't think it was a bad looking truck. Functional to take a beating. Cheers, Rob
  9. Yea loadstars were popular. Before my dad bought the BC 160 he was waiting for a Paramus DPW loadstar dump they were putting up for sale with a V8 5 and 2 speed rear and air brakes. They were taking their sweet time and he couldn't wait any longer. The scouts and pickups were good just rust buckets. Fords and GM's seemed to be supreme by us in the 70's.
  10. I like diesel rat rods.
  11. I like this style better too. I gotta buy a new hood and get her to paint at some point.
  12. I like the top one. Any pics of the Unimog?
  13. Sure why not I'll take her home. My wife's pretty open about that. She said we had to get new sheets first before we brought a friend home.
  14. That RD must be the beater truck as its not as clean as their Petes. Does anybody know if this is an off shoot company to Montesano I posted down in Nanuet working? They seem to be very similar. I used to run into them a lot in Yonkers when we were working over that way in the Bronx and Scarsdale going back and forth to MT Vernon. Rob
  15. I ran a 950 like this better pic this time in the CSX terminal in North Bergen NJ for three winters moving snow. The 938 is brand new I suspect. Cheers, Rob
  16. Was up in Tuxedo NY for some business and went to take more pics as I was annoyed some of my last pic posts were a little blurry. I;m not a fan of Petes but this tri axle is specced pretty good. The RD has a 300 and 7 speed pretty typical. The Pete tractor is your typical NY spec tractor for heavy dump trailer use. Cheers, Rob
  17. They like the V8's. They have a bunch of them looks like they got them from Canada. They run live bottom trailers, walking floors and dump trailers. They wave to me all the time and the last time I met them I was probably a kid. Rob
  18. Short as in height I should of said. 12.5 to 13 is short. I ran a rd for DeMarino years ago that was a ex lowboy tractor for FA Marchello. It was built in Canada and had the first 400 mechanical in her with a 12 speed, big rubber and 58 rears. Erwin put a short Bristol Donald on her maybe 13ft. It sucked going up a hill or a steep driveway the front wheels would come of the ground and she wouldn't steer. A paver in Congers NY has this truck now. A DM would be different I guess with the front overhang enough ballast on the front. Cheers, Rob
  19. That DM is so unusual and it has a Dynaflex muffler on her. Very cool pics. I like all the New England stuff. Cheers, Rob
  20. They are from Fremont Center NY. They have a whole fleet of V8 CL's, Superliners. A lot of Granite Tri axles. My father knew them very well. Rob
