  1. I like the pic of Bozo Bear you have in there. A lot of history of that truck. Cheers, Rob
  2. Actually I took my time coming in and my plow was already on. I did have to hook up my IPOD though. Gotta have tunes and he put new radios in all the trucks.
  3. If you know it's coming up you can mentally prepare for it. Drop of a hat screws you up. Been there done that with running all day and night. You driving a mixer too huh? When I get a pic at some point I got involved with something else that evolved.
  4. Happy Birthday!!
  5. She's a good puppy.
  6. Ha! no we do from Sheridan Ave in Waldwick to the state line into NY. Were plowing for the state of NJ. About a seven mile stretch plus all of the exit ramps. I was suffering. It sucks when you get called out at the last minute. It screws with your mind.
  7. No time to finish cleaning the hood off. Had to put the plows on and go.
  8. I couldn't finish my post before. I don't know how he lost his fingers but he was real good on the two sticks. I was like 6 years old. The owner's name if anybody from upstate would know is John Bernas. He owns Sullivan Asphalt now. All of his trucks are painted the Mack paint scheme that was on the NY thread on that Superliner. He bought an R Model years ago and it was painted that way and he kept that set up till this day even though he is a Kenworth man now. Also Joseph Cavalieri from Paterson NJ had a Ford 800 tandem with a 534 and a Bristol Donald body on it. He ran this up to just recently. That truck was bad ass. Anybody got pics of that?
  9. I bet Tim. Was it a gas job? Bet it had a 534 in her unless it was repowered. A friend of our family who was an excavator in Cochecton NY had a F800 tandem that was repowered with a Cummins and had a 5x4. I rode in that truck when I was little. He had a red shale bank on his property and used to load with a Scoop Mobile. The driver had two fingers missing from his one hand.
  10. Keep the snow Tim. I can't get any work done. It's going to be cold for the next 5 or 6 six days so it's not going out so fast. That old girl runs great. That truck had everything new in it when Joe bought it. He's just been doing mostly cosmetic stuff to it.
  11. I bet it was ugly. lol! I love that style of Ford, Rob
  12. Awesome Bryan. Thanks for posting. Rob
  13. The Ford is freakin cool as hell!.
  14. Cool and I like the idea that Mack had with the foul weather deal. I do remember seeing some trucks with the valve control on top of the dash. Cheers, Rob
  15. Bulldog in the mist. I like the Ford.
  16. That was like the stuff SANZARI used to sell in North Bergen it had brick, garbage, metal, wood, just crap. I can see pure concrete being a good product.
  17. Mike Lawrence's Mack was featured in Trucking International it has 58 rears in it.
  18. I don't like it. There is a place in Linden NJ by the old Dupont plant that crushes pure concrete only. It is more expensive but that is a good product. Everything else has too much brick in it.
  19. Those are great photos I like pin up girls. Cheers, Rob
