  1. Joey's truck here was from Conn. It used to be red and green. The guy had two of them he was selling. Too bad this truck got totaled but was bought by Conserv in Hillburn and rebuilt. Joe didn't trust the truck after he surveyed the damage so he bought it back from the insurance co and then they bought it. Cheers, Rob
  2. Very cool Jocko.
  3. Like I said before. It used to be if you could get it to Port Newark there was $10,000.00 waiting for you. Went right into a container. Cheers, Rob
  4. Your pics are better than mine. The quality of the camera shows. Rob
  5. Still a cool DM. I love the slant body.
  6. These guys are working on that big Turnpike project with redoing all of the exits and bridges. Cheers, Rob
  7. Bbob that's actually older. It was a 62. It had the 292 V8 with the crossover exhaust between the manifolds. We put diffs from a 72 "highboy" in it. The truck had the 4 speed. We also ran straight pipes on it. My father sold it with the property 2 years ago. It was a good yard/plow truck. Cheers, Rob
  8. Would love to have that in Jersey. Was the 8 speed the "B" with the shiftable reverse? Rob
  9. Ok I like trucks with stories. This was originally owned by Frank and Steve Little from Newfoundland NJ. These guys were the first ones to bring down bulk mulch from the mills to Northern NJ back in the early seventies. We never had that only used bagged product for the most part. These guys had some array of trucks over the years. I wish I had photos of all of them.Any way I used to ride in this truck when I was 4 or 5 years old. It had a 270 Cummins, 7 speed Spicer with a high/low reverse with a cool flipper on the stick, 65 top loader Eaton rears. Len Deblock bought it from Steve and also bought Steve's Superliner which is in Sparta now. They had Macks, Ford and Kenworths. Too bad they passed own Steve was too young. He was a big man.
  10. Happy Birthday Rick!!
  11. Red Horse the backhoes come off pretty quick to get to the 3 point hitch. I have pics of an 801 with the driving axle. I believe the axle was a Dodge product. The backhoe was definetly an industrial hoe. Rowdy Rebel the 47 would of had some sort of a tubular loader on it I would imagine. I had a guy right in Sloatsburg that had an English industrial diesel 4000 TLC.It had a different cowl on the front. He wouldn't part with it. Two is enough for me right now. There are machines around but people want a lot of mula for them. Back then John Deere couldn't get their act together with their backhoes with the chain swing and Case wasn't very good in the early sixties. Everybody had a Ford industrial at least in our area. Cheers, Rob
  12. No fifth wheel they are Fords. The Wain -Roy 's are basically the same. The 63 has a 10 ft and the 64 has a 14-15 ft. The hoe on the 64 is probably a bit too big but nice for reaching. I need to have the valve bodies fixed the hoes sink. A real problem trying to get parts or replacements. Those valve bodies are like the Holy Grail. My dad's friend had a David Brown industrial that had a Wain-Roy backhoe on it. My father kicked himself for never buying that machine. It was diesel, multi range trans. Had a slightly light front axle on it though. The owner of Star Ravioli bought it and took it to his farm. 4 levers that is what I was taught on. Cheers, Rob
  13. I like the 2080B with the shiftable reverse. I drove one of these T2080's wasn't bad. Better than the seven speed. Cheers., Rob
  14. All you got is the dog's ass! . That green DM is awesome. Rob
  15. One of these Cousin's trucks was parked in Pompton Lakes. It was newer. Rob
  16. Get a better pic 2stack. That RD looks cool. I want to see more of it. Cheers, Rob

  18. That's pretty good. I've seen them to be very expensive.
  19. Forgot the pic
  20. Who are these three retards? Me on the left ready to drop dead. Was working for a full year straight from beginning to end on the Rt 4 and 17 project in Paramus. Was working 6 days basically non stop. I lost almost 40 lbs (maybe it was the prescription speed I was on) oh did I say that? I told Leslie Demarino I'll take all the work you can give me. It was when I just got divorced from my 1st wife. I had a lot of bills. Got everything paid off pretty quickly though. Was also paving in between the New State Thruway for Yonkers too. Was a busy time. Cheers, Rob
  21. Englishtown Autocar from Maryland. These trucks had 475 Cummins in them. Rob
  22. Ross Hauling from Rockland County. Truck has a air shifted Spicer.
  23. How about Tursi's truck before the major transformation. He bought a highly modified Cummins that was done up by Ted Bolkema. That truck has a 13 and a 3 in her. Rob
