  1. There used to be a little money in the reefer business not any more. A few years ago I was in Pompano FL In the resturant and a broker came in with a load going to Boston. It loaded in Pompano the rate was $900.00 and some young boy jumped right on it. Back in the good ole days a 40' trailer was all that was needed now its a 53' with more freight and lower rates. Thanks to deregulation.
  2. Take it to the Best Buy in Gladys or Winfall and get the Geek squad to fix it. They fixed mine that was diagnosed wrong. Now it is a back up. Now when I have problems instead of a hammer I contact the Geek squad.
  3. As bad as those wheels are they need sanded first. You should start with a rough grit about 200 then 800. Then use jewelers rouge if sanded you should be able to use green. If you want a good shine that look like new after the green use white. You will need a varible speed grinder with polishing pads for the grinder. Dewalt work the best. It is dirty work but when you are done they look like new.
  4. The web site I ordered my spouts from is http://ezpourspout.com/wp/ You can thank CARB for these gas cans.
  5. My granddad had running water in the house but no bathroom. If it was late of nite we could use the thunder mug. During the day it was the outhouse. It was cold setting in there in the winter.
  6. This one will lay on the chair beside me and want scratched for hours and if I stop she takes her nose and nudges my hand. Shes a half a dog high and a dog and a half long mixed with beagle.
  7. When I growd up we didn't want to be in side. After school and after cartoons on saturday outside until dark. Course I was por if I wanted a bubble bath I just farted in the tub. Course that was the good ole days. Work in the hay field all summer long and on the farm after school to have beer money. I sure would love to go back to them days. I'm only 44 but those were the days.
  8. This thing they call a show is the exact reason I don't what that joke on history channel ice road clowns.
  9. Happy BDay Vinny. Enjoy it this is the best years of your life.
  10. It was yours and mines tax dollars.
  11. I was always told the hammer will fix anything and the wrench is for brakes.
  12. David can you splain the 2 most inportant tool to a truck driver. Hammer and 9/16 wrench.
  13. We should not have to take care of that scumbag for the rest of his life. We could eliminate prison overcrowding to. If your convicted of a hannis crime you get your choice. Electric chair, Hanging, or fireing squad. No more overcrowding and lower our taxes.
  14. Some scumbag tried to get my mom one day. Just as luck would have it I was there. The scam was she was the grand prize of $50,000 and needed her to send $300.00 to claim the prize. I got on the phone and told them to take the 300 out of the winnings and send the rest. They said that would not work and I told them that was how it was going to happen and they hung up. Glad I was home or they would have got 300 from mom.
  15. We had a bunch of old tires stold a few years ago. Had the crooks on camera nice shot of there faces. The images was not that good and could not see the faces good enough to identify them or the license plate. Long story short get a good camera that has a high resiloution.
  16. According to Antrim Diesel they set mine up. They told me that the 6999 was the hottest codes to use but the fuel mileage was not as good. I got 5232 in mine Richard said they are 20 HP less and get better GPM (Gallons Per Mile) Try them both and see which is the best. The air restriction might be better with 5232. These codes are right under the 6999.
  17. Which codes did you have put in it. Does the smoke clear up quick or does it linger. Try to find the bigger air cleaner housing for under the hood. It will have to be changed more often.
  18. You got a filter problem. Its probably got 1small filter. If you could put 1 or 2 big ones on the outside of the truck it would do better. When you put the hot codes in 5232 codes it gets more fuel and needs more air. You might have to put a better air cooler on it also. Not to mention a bigger turbo. Reason being why dump more fuel on the pistons and not burn it.
  19. Been there done that.
  20. Just got my bottle of hot sauce today. The peliminary taste test revealed that it is some kinda gooood. So good that it will make a Bulldog pull a freight train. Thanks Other Dog.
  21. Go to Miami and call a warehouse to get directions. After the transfer you to 3 different people none of which you can understand you wonder how they get to work. Then the person that finnaly get on the phone that you can't understand tries for 10 minutes to tell you how to get there it leaves one wondering how they got to Miami.
  22. I sometimes just turn the bag upside down and open the bottom of the bag. Little chips and a jar full of dip.
  23. I think you are right OD. It had a big parking lot that set back off the road a little. One night I was going to Lynchburg at about where the Blue Ridge Parkway cross' 130 there was a freight hauler setting in the road. I'm glad nothing was coming the other way.
  24. I used to like running down 501 and 130 to Lynchburg and Brookneal when I hauled lumber. I just noticed the second map I delivered a lot of lumber to the old Burruss plant. When going back 130 in the morning there was a good resturant to eat breakfast at.
  25. I'm with you on this one. I'll keep the exact words I said to my self and just say I dont like it.
