  1. Guys have a good day. Kevin try and stay off the sweets. Its bad for your complexion. Be good to Tracey today. She would probably like a day off with pay. mike
  2. I pass by a trailer each morning going to work that looks like the one in the photo but not as shiney. The company that has it uses it for equipment only and is parked inside a fenced in lot. Also a Great Dane with rounded front, backed up near the highway, in some trees. I sure would like to see it restored but I don't have the room and resources. Thanks for showing Mark mike
  3. I'm glad to see the Mack Prime Mover from WW11. Would love to know that it will be restored to it's original look and be used for truck shows and parades. I see it has new rubber. Is there a way that I could keep an image of the truck? Thank You! mike
  4. Welcome Leslie, to the BMT site. By finding your Vin# on your frame and on your passenger door plate. You can get lots of literature with a donation sent to the Mack Truck Museum on your truck. You can call them Mon., Wed., or Fri. 10:00a.m. til 4:00p.m. est. This is there new number as of today since they have moved,Phone#610-351-8999. There is a web-site oldmacksrus.com that you can find lots of information about B-Models and a wiring diagram to help you. Happy Trucking mike
  5. Aj, Unless someone decided to install an aftermarket highbeam indicator, your original highbeam indicator is next to your fuel gauge in your photo post here. It is very small in size, about the size of a tack head. If you can trace the wires it should be able to tell you it's purpose. mike
  6. I've heard of mud bogging, but that is amazing. Hey.....and I believe that looks like randyp. Tom ya forgot the goat! I saw this week on TV, an episode of Extreme Loggers. They showed one of the buckets down deep in the marsh stuck and another bucket had to get it out the next morning. mike
  7. Joe, Since a few people still think of me as being human, i'll be the 1st one to FORGIVE YOU for your sins as nobody has done so yet. But when you go to bed tonight. You will have to kneel down next to your bed and say your prayers and promise not to forget your Mack friends ever again. Only teasing mike
  8. Hey hatcity, just came to mind that they have to pass through Tennessee if they start on the florida west coast and go east. Sometimes they settle here cause the cheap homes and property that most of the original southerners had to get rid of cause of high taxes and poverty paying jobs and such. The excuse they say is, the weather is what brought them here. Hey hatcity,.......got a question for ya......Is there a such thing as a northern redneck, east coast redneck, and a west coast redneck? mike
  9. Since i'm the first on call with this subject, i'll try and get right some of your questions. The last year for the B model was 1966. The B-75 was one of the square radiator Mack's, they were building different style's of B Models, from B-13's to B-873 with Cummins Diesel Engines. The last question about the 237 engine I may need help on. I believe the 237 came in the R- Model Macks in the early 1970's. I hope this helps you. mike
  10. Thanks randy for selling me that goat. I'm making a decent living with it now, since about 8 guys on this site wants to spend alittle time with it and old buddy looks happier now. Just let me know when your ready to buy it back. We can make alot of money off that goat. Ya know any farmers down there that might want to sell some ducks? mike
  11. See Randy I told ya you'd be missed if ya didn't sign-in and you were. I got some wax if ya need some. Wax on Wax off....good story, if I need dozer work i'll call ya and see if killer can make it to Tennessee. mike

    Hey Mike-

Hi Tom, Yes i've been down that road afew times and dragged the pegs. It sure can get your attention. I cannot understand why a truck, bus or anything big would want to tackle the almost 360 degree curves all 318 curves in 11 miles. Surely they planned their route carefully. I would not want to pull a popup camper through that terrain. If ya have not been in that area, I would suggest a trip to that region of the country. We bikers would ride from Nashville to North Carolina's Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground. It would take us most of the day, from sun up to sundown to get there. If you have time, look up the campground. They have many pictures of the area. First time I stayed there, we all camped out under the stars. They also have acouple of cabins. The people that own the grounds cook two meals per day for the bikers. Breakfast and dinner are served for you under a pavilion at picnic tables. Ponds with fish to feed and many fires to warm a cold biker down in the valley. I wish that I could have drawn you a better picture of this beautiful campground but, then you would not need to go see for yourselves. Last time I saw the place was 1996 and now new owners have it. Thanks for sharing! oh yea, looks like a red Mack going to the rescue mike

Yea i'm kinda partial to the hat myself. Is that a Harley Davidson suite? Congratulations otherdog, looks like tha family is multiplying. mike
  14. I wasn't saying anything against his truck. I like most all trucks. I guess I need to stop going to shows so I want be so negative about the events that i've been involved in. mike
  15. I'm glad to know someone knows their History. Ole Abe and his cabinet sure changed southern history forever with his Anaconda Act. mike
  16. Dang it Mark......Brother I feel your PAIN. I used to have to do that with a straight truck many nights. I know it's much worse with a trailer. Good job.....looks like ya made it happen again. mike
  17. Ya mean ya have never been surprised before. Someone threw it inside of his car without him seeing it happen. The guy with it inside his BVD's......aaahhh that's another matter. He was probably at a Harley Club Meeting....and got initiated by having to pick up a bag of coke with his butt and forgot it was in there and got nailed for having it. See i'm for the defendant mike
  18. Other dog, let us know how it turns out.

I can't comment on the pending case-you'll have to ax my attorney...if you can find him.

  19. Hi Packer, You must have been busy, haven't heard from ya in a while. Thats some good advise. I have not seen the size you suggested the .023 only the .025 & .030 etc. When using the gas, what percentage and which gas? Does the gas help with splatter and heat? I know that the thin metals need less heat. Had to think about the feed a few minutes, but I got it now. Many Thanks! mike
  20. Sorry AJ, I've been slacking. I stopped inside work and am taking the truck apart starting frontend first. If I can catch the little girl next door, i'll see if she can help me get the hood off. I can handle the rest after that. Very good photo's of your glove box and I appreciate very much, you showing it. The holes on my glove box look to me too high up near the curve of the dash. So i'll weld those shut and make new holes the same size, but lower toward the opening. mike

Hey Mark, I figure the aussies are doing the aba, daba, doo like Barnie and Fred and use their feet to get them moving. mike
  22. Yea they have'm, i'm not ready for them yet. I concern myself with out of stock items, like the glove compartment item. I toyed with the idea buying it from Barry then out of the blue it went out of stock so I called Kevin and bought one from him. The vent glass channels are chrome and my truck needs for them to be rechromed but i'm waiting cause i'm not ready to buy these items yet. I probably should go ahead and get the vent window rubbers etc. since most of my truck is in very good shape. The vent rubbers and front glass and it's rubber seal and back glass seal is all I need to finish me up in buying new toys. I want to repaint the entire truck although the body still looks good. I have rebuilt the old airhorns and am ready to install. If they work, then i'll need for the trumpets to be rechromed. mike
  23. Hey Rob, Wouldn it cost more to buy from that company than from Barry? mike
  24. Yea randy, I laugh to keep from crying also. mike
  25. Thanks for informing us on this matter. I'm sure i'll be needing it. I did recieve my order from Watt's this afternoon all in good order. THX mike
