  1. I'd be proud also Ernie of the truck. Here in Nashville only mixers were the B's and R's for a long time. Now ya hardly ever see and R. Mainly the OshKosh here now. Thanks mike
  2. LOL........LOL.......Don't forget Tornado Hillary in the vicinity. mike
  3. Excellent idea. This is what makes me keep coming back, cause of better ideas that work. I remember my dad using this method on an old truck we had and it works great. I must have been 12 at the time he used that method and material. mike
  4. Hang in there hatcity. We are also watching this on TV weather channel. Don't forget the wadders. mike
  5. I'll say you guys got the best idea and cost efficient. For some reason I got this hangup wanting OEM, and have not let it sink in yet that these parts are probably EXTINCT. I'm learning and an old dog trying to learn. mike
  6. Most of us go to WATTS MACK SALES @ 1-888-304-6225 for B Model and R Model needs....ask for Tracy or Barry. Regards mike
  7. Hey Rob, here is the R -Model I wanted ya to see. I could not find the thread to post it in the correct place. Please forgive me guys, i'll try and do better. This truck was at our Music City ATHS Show in Cookville, TN and I enjoyed talking to Jim the owner and his friend. I just had to show it. I also told him about the BMT site hoping he'll give it a try. mike

    Wedding Photo:

Maybe the results of Crack Cocaine or a bad home life or both. Adolph would have a field day if he were alive in this country. mike
  9. Yea, Bubba is driving through Alabama, headed home to Farmington, IL. Hey Bubba, Say hello to a guy named Rob when ya get home. mike

    Rats!

Rob,......i'm saying nothing, I repeat, nothing. mike
  11. I will third the motion what Paul and Rob have said. I had truck parking duties this morning at a ATHS show in Cookville,TN and a R 600 with 300 engine pulled up and I asked him to park his truck up front so it would fill up the last spot closest to the entrance which is where I was standing. I will post this picture tomorrow. It was a honey of a truck....very clean. Yours looks very good, thanks for posting it here. Many Regards mike

We'll need to ask you......if you see the avitars in the left corner of these several threads? If so you will see a black truck which is Lmackattack and he has a 70's model R Model. Then the guy from Virginia called Otherdog has a B-Model which is Red in color. If any one of these trucks look like the one you drove then BINGO.....we've solved the mystery of what you drove. Hope this helps!!! mike
  14. Welcome Clifton, Hope the F Model serves you well. Welcome to this site. mike
  15. HatCity, The problem is solved.........all ya gots to do is bring the truck to Nashville and i'll rub on it for ya until ya ready fur it. Case Closed. Oh yea, watch out for those people that like to or suggest using ether.....the'll get a laugh out of someone needing a new head for their Mack. mike
  16. Speed......ifn ya jist want to make it louder....all ya got to do is......cut a hole in the floor alittle bigger than the exhaust pipe, then run the pipe up into the cab bout close enough beside your head or ear ( for those folks that have hearing issues ) then enjoy the music all day ifn ya like. See that wasn't so bad. If ya need alittle AFRO enginuity you'll have to go somewheres else. Ya might try the Rounchy Rebel....he's out there someplace watching. mike
  17. Gary, Welcome to the BIG SHOW. I especially need educated on most truck matters and hope I can call on your expertise sometime. Oh by the way.......try not to mention the V word around here. It makes us MACK fellers feel alittle abused. I noticed you have not, so welcome to the site. mike
  18. The ole MACK sure has had alot of patience with the owner. I just wonder if the owner still goes out and looks at the truck to see if it is still their. Hey HatCity, see if this guy would like to give it to you. Tell him it would look better at your pad. At least you would rub on it some. mike
  19. Jeff, Bare with us we are still thinking.

Kevin, I want to say a BIG THANK YOU and your helpers for all your help with my B Model project. Keep up the great work.

    Thanks Mike Sanders

  21. Randy, Man........all I can say is........ya must have an IRON BUTT. I've never met a man that would take it in the who who area. We have a few guys and dolls at work that are from Texas and i've kinda wondered about them. They are whatcha call.............DIFFERENT. I guess if ya can sit inside and drive a B-Model all day then that tush is tough and can take any kind of punishment. GOOD LUCK LMAO! mike
  22. HatCity, I was not going to say or think that about Rowdy. I will say he has Lightning speed about him, IF he did the whole job by himself. That means the pooch did not help either. Hypo speaking. mike
  23. Taking the B Model apart and having a wonderful time and no rust yet.

  24. Ya, mite want to bore and stroke it. Also install a Dyno approved Mack camshaft. Make sure ya port and polish tha heads and make sure ya polish tha pump outside housing so it will boost the looks if not power. mike
  25. Larry, Sure sounds like tha man upstairs was lookin out fur ya. Happy for ya! mike
