Been seeing this Mack about 14 miles from my house,it had been sitting at a grain mill, have not seen it for a year until this past weekend. Found it sitting in a fenced in back lot with NO TRESPASSING signs posted. Could not find anyone to ask questions about it. But in time i'll keep watching & waiting. mike

NAPA has been a good resource for me and my truck so far. Take your seals with you and they sometimes can match them or take the seals to a gasket & rubber industrial co. The parts are not cheap by no means, but how often do we change them out? Answer not often so we pay the price. Sometimes on this site we could use pictures....so take some of what your working on and post them. It helps us to see what you see. If you pm Freightain he can also help you...he's had his wiper system apart for cleaning etc. mike

Brian if you found oil....then it may be stopped up still. Any valve is a good idea to clean. Is your compressor pumping out oil? mike

It would be fun to live in Farmington, IL close to where all the action is. I have a young family next door neighbors that he drives a school bus and fires it up Sept. thru June is a diesel and smokes up the neighborhood while he warms it for 45 mins. It literally fogs the whole neighborhood while hes indoors eating breakfast. My mind has wondered many times what not to do legally. I've only seen diesels smoke that bad when they want start, it's just a white cloud. mike

Hey I must have bought that owl last year for my deck at home, mostly for a conversation piece. Well when I went outside to check on it, it would not do anything, so I had to carry it to the workbench. After messing with it, it finally would move it's head a little but only does it when you provoke it. I almost threw it away last month but gave it another chance to live awhile longer. I wonder if my bosses son messed with it when they were building me a garage last summer? It was driving the workers crazy whoing. I laughed when they told me about it. Honestly the owl worked overtime everyday, if it had been a real owl he'd been dead along time ago. Funny thing is they really work cause I was looking out my window one morning and a group of crows were coming low overhead straight toward the owl. They got almost over the owl before the lead crow dodged the owl and the other crows followed the dodge. mike

Would you take a slightly used PETERBUILT for it? It has had an oil leak recently but is now fixed ( I Think ) It is in Gladys, VA sitting around not being used enough. I think it would be a good trade. Email otherdog more info. Also will send a scarecrow from the garden to keep ya company on long trips. mike

Tom I like the bike with the camper on it the BEST....I might have seen it somewhere....kinda looks familar....I bet the camper is difficult to get into his basement. Here it is on my dirty garage floor from having absorbant on the tires. This bike stays on my cycle jack and battery charger all the time off the floor. Thought I would get a good photo in the basement but it did not turn out like I expected it to but, I have more fun with it at bike shows when it has been cleaned up. mike

Rob would probably like to ride the ARROW. No stop signs to worry about and radar with ATC helps greatly with traffic. Not cars or bikes. mike

LOL.... I'm sorry Rob you are hurting cause I feel your pain. It started with my lower back August 2005 getting ready for work that morning. I had tied one shoe and was knealing down to tie the other when it felt like someone had sucker punshed me in the lower back. I grabbed the dresser in front of me and pulled myself up only to look at my ugliness in the mirror with an auwfull look on my face thinking how was I going to work today. I hate (yes I use the hate word at that time)to miss work being sick. I was out 5 days with the back locked up. Since then I feel like an injured person having to be careful at every movement I make. Trying to make a long story short.....I have been going to a Chiropractor since 2006 and has been a no cure method. Everyone i talk to says don't stop moving meaning don't go an sit in a chair.....GO WALKING...HONESTLY IT IS HELPING ME. I look back at this past weekend riding 307 miles knowing I could not have done that unless I had exercised by walking this past week everyday. My g/f had foot surgery in January and is just now starting to walk again, so we are walking a mile each day hoping we can increase that to several more miles in the evening when we get home from work. Hope This Is Some Encouragement for you! mike

Rob.......that is not a bike.......you did not put good money into that. Nobody with a bad back and 50 years old buys a bike......maybe a Corvette or new big screen TV. Guys.....out there I don't have the heart to tell him what that really is. A man.....never mine. I was going to take a photo of my Harley this afternoon but went walking instead ( g/f ) idea. Rob....i'll show you a bike soon. It's not black which is popular color but, is REDHOT. mike
