Yea, seem's like it's been 35 or 40 years since I saw the old 66 emblem. I would like to find an old Pulaski Highway Express sign for my new garage. I found a Mason Dixon sign but the person wanted $300.00 for it.
  5. Rob, Would you ask her if it would be ok for me to come up and play ball with her sometime ? Or ask Momma first. mike
  6. Anyway Nikki knocks me out without knocking me out.......well something like that. mike
  7. Tom, You would not want Rob to fly my plane cause he might do one of those Comokozie attempts. Then we would all be gone to " MACK HEAVEN. " mike

I guess i'll have ta go back to tha Post Office and ask where tha Swallows live. It's kinda cool and windy around here...........kinda reminds me of a silly joke once told. When a man was looking to find a new town to live in. He stumbled upon this man in the new town and asked him was the people nice in this here town? The man asked if the people in the town that he left were nice and he said naw they wernt. So the fellow told him that the people wernt nice in that town neighter........and I believe that chicken dinner may be a little tainted.....LOL Tell Momma to come and pick me up before it gets dark 30. mke
  10. Rob, I got this ole Mule and i'll throw in tha wagon real cheap for ya. You'll be amased on the mileage you can get out of it as long as you don't mind tha aroma cause you are behind the exhaust pipe on her......and i might ifin your nice to me and Nikki seeing each other, throw -in a bag for tha mule to empty her tail pipe into. Only have to change it every 10 miles or so........and the wagon can hold up to a ton of anything ya want to put on it. Tell me how much ya want to spend on a new or used truck and I'll beat anyone's price and put a warranty with it also. I might throw in a couple of west coast mirrors and a ooga horn. Hey Joe, Did not want to wake ya up too early a.m. cause them mountains in east TN. have the tendency to make a fella sleep late. Honestly I could not get up any earlier than 10:30 a.m. while on vacation. I can see it now the cost to ship a waterheater UPS would have cost me about as much as the Lowes cost me. I did get the one I wanted which was a Whirlpool with control panel. We use to get a waterheater brand in this area called a State waterheater out of Ashland City, TN. but I guess they bellied up. This one is supposed to last 9 years if I take care and drain it sometimes and not let the anods take over in it. Joe, my best friend from high school is from Jefferson City and lives on the Cherokee lake. He loves it sooo-much he has no time to go anywhere else and retired at the age of 46 from Winn-Dixie in Morristown. It's nice to wake up and walk down to the dock and lay around and etc. and swim, run the lake on Jet-ski's, come back eat sandwiches and get bored and burn. mike
  14. Listen to Herb, This is one subject that many including me has thrown up questions. I have even talked to the Mack Dealer and they said we were just like splitting hairs when we asked that question. They said use any kind but DO NOT use NON- DETERGENT oil. Read on the jug first or ask before leaving the store if indoubt ASK. mike

I see you guy's have been having a good time in my absence. Yea Herb....I resemble that remark......me and the g/f have been in Gatlinburg since friday night. Didn't get away as early as I wanted because mom's waterheater had a leak so I had to find a new one at Lowe's. Didn't get away without spending $400.00 for it and then went back to mom's and installed it. It was a lot nicer to put in without having to use copper pipe and soldering. The cleanup was taking the most time. Tom, Looks like too many people keeping an eye on the hen-house huh. I do believe i've seen some of them varmints before....LOL!............I'm ready for another truck show since I enjoyed the Huntsville Show so much.......Have not heard from the bumblebee yet have ya? mike
  17. Just getting back from the Huntsville, AL show. Got to meet up with the bumblebee from this site, we both had a great time talking and walking trucks. I bet we walked 20 miles and didn't go far at all. I believe the oldest truck was a 1917 FWD Army Truck, we talked to the owner and he showed us things about his truck that was really impressive. We talked to a Mr. Wendle Curry of Athens, AL and he was truly a interesting individual. He was on a heart pump with filter. You would not have thought anything was wrong with him just by looking and talking with him but he is very lucky to be alive. He is one of the old veterans of trucking. We told him about our B Model Macks and he got very excited about them and told us old stories of when he drove and owned several B's. I now feel better about my B Model since I met Mr. Curry and him telling me some do's and don'ts about that model. I now know that I need a 4.65 ratio rears for mine and not the 5.39 that I have now. If you can think of Mr. Curry say a prayer for him to be well enough to enjoy trucks for a long time to come. And thanks to Bobby the Bumblebee for meeting me at the show, we were hoping to find some more of our friends from the BIG MACK TRUCKS web-site. Regards mike

Somebody, Tell Nikki i'll be up to visit her and Momma while the Magnet is gone, the truck show can wait! That Arrow can fly pretty fast, especially with a tail wind. Ya Ha Ha......should get their in an hour and ten minutes after flying through all them MOA's with no problem. mike
  22. Sometimes those guages get off and have to be recalibrated, especially when they get some age on them from too much handleing and abuse. mike
  23. Way ta Go Larry, Congradulations on the WINS!.......By the way.....is that woman standing beside you waiting to get your autograph or sumpin? Or is that Rob in one of his disguises?.......I'm still trying to figure out the real Rob. mike
  24. Tom, My dad once told me that he could not see how I put up with someone arguing with me all the time. He said that I must have been a stronger man than him for hanging in their......Well I have not been able to figure that out to this day but I know what I can take and how long. My fuse was longer than my dad's because he was General Patton tough when my brother and I were kids. Mom says to me even now that my dad should not have had any kids. I understand it now and she is right.......But I commend you for hanging in their.......As they say.....When the going gets tough...The tough get going. mike
