The wood is like a veneer. Really it is hollow inside that stack of wood. The shocks were removed and the tailgate was already bent to crap. Just sounds better to call them covered bridges instead of uncovered bridges I know this to be a fact that thieves would hide in the rafters and jump down on people to rob them.

Unfortunately for Trump he keeps shooting himself in the foot with any Democrats and many Republicans. I would like for him to just tell it like it is to her without hurting himself. All of it looks like teenagers not agreeing on anything. I would not trust either one to run this country but we got to vote on the lesser of two evils. Trump should have promised all of the people that he was going to take care of them and bring as many of the foreigners into this country and build new and bigger ships to bring them over. Free health care for everyone. Politicians can and do promise while they are running but fizzle out when elected. Trump has my vote only because he is a businessman.

Sounds like we got a WINNER! I met an older gentleman, a new member of our local truck and tractor club this past Sunday. He used to drive for different companies that hauled trucks to different dealers. So he drove many different trucks and said to me that MACK was the best dang truck. To me that says it all.

I got talked into having the valve guides knurled in my 77 Ford 302 engine. It was a mistake i'll never do again. I would not do it to any engine cause it is just borrowing time. I did not do it with my 673. Dad used to say (if it is worth having then it is worth doing it right).

It would make someone a good project to have. I hope a good buyer will come forth, if and when you decide to sell. Also hope that you would give the Mack Family 1st chance at it, on this site.

Looks like you got your hands full. I hope this is not going to be another Rat-rod or Custom job, cause anyone that can take these and make it look new again, has gained total respect from anyone that has had any vehicle restoration experience. Good luck with this project. I myself wonder how that roof can look new again, as in factory finish? I'm guessing that it would need cutting off and pounding out the dents and straightening the posts, filling in where needed etc. etc. Keep us posted. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah......now that is what i'm talkin about. I know grayhair could get lost in Space with any of those. You would think your in orbit, in another world and would not want to come home again, Grayhair. You surely would start growing hair again, back natural color.

So I take it the pooch thinks the tires and wheels need a little cleaning? A friend of mine had bought an old ford wagon. He had to take 4 gallons of oil with him, cause it was drinking oil. They sold it to someone in Ohio, but it used 4 gallons of oil on that trip.

What a bunch of crock. Just another opportunity for the government to gouge us for more money on this gasoline crisis. Thursday evening we were $1.92 for 87 octane. Now many fuel markets have ran out of fuel. Why can't they run out of beer or cigarettes instead of fuel? Now it is Saturday night still no fuel for many markets and most that have any fuel are gouging us for $2.59 cents per gallon. I've heard as much as $4.00 per gallon. The strangest thing i've noticed is the trains that normally run every 20 to 25 minutes near my house, have not ran all night or today. It is like the railroad has stopped all of that main line runs. I also noticed that I could not hear any truck or car traffic running on I- 65 Interstate near my home. It is really strange to not hear any traffic coming of the ridge.

With other fees mentioned, this morning a pipeline broke in Alabama. Just wondering when the gasoline prices will escalate?Have not heard anything here at work. But usually don't.
