  1. I heard that, You can say that again......
  2. Ok, yes I do have something in common with Jay Leno ,but not his chin or money. His father bought new a 1966 Ford Galaxy 500 and my father did also. My dad purchased his in October 1965. And when I became of driving age I drove it on occasion, until my senior year I purchased it for $1000.00. I t was not as hot under the hood like Jay's car, but it was a good looking car. We had the 352 c.i. Carter 4bbl. Dad finally put a 600 Holley and also a new under the dash air conditioner. I drove it until it had 54,000 miles and was slightly some blue smoke coming out the duel exhaust and the red paint was faded. Other than that it was a good car. Do I wish I had it back? Sometimes yes. Don't see any running around Nashville ever.
  3. I would have at least wanted to TOOT the horn. Gets me all excited thinking about it.
  4. Run Forrest Run. You can do it.
  5. Don't forget the old reliable Dorman or Fastenal companies. They have been around a long time. I find myself sometimes at the Ace Hardware store. I also use Lee Spring . www.leespring.com they have stock springs or custom.
  6. The latch may be in the closed position, keeping the door from closing or latching. Try pushing down on the latch until you hear a click or when it holds in the down position, then try closing it. If you don't understand me, then maybe one of these guys can explain it better. English is my second language, especially when i've been to the KILT.
  7. I catch your drift. I had to wake up first. I saw none either. LOL
  8. Very, very good information. Had not heard this. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Hatcity......WHO?
  10. Probably the quietest engine you have ever had? LOL
  11. But you know who the biggest or most I should say Comedians are in this country. That thought comes back to me every time I watch a football game or basketball game on TV.
  12. Hi Mark, I know that i'm asking for the impossible, but I need a nice green B Model STEERING WHEEL. Do I get any laughs from the peanut gallery or what thrown at me? I bought a few years ago on ebay an R Model wheel in color green thinking I could use it, but I would trade someone for it so I could get what is suppose to be in that truck of mine.
  13. Funny though, but i'm excited and glad for you, for making such good progress. Can't wait to see more, hopefully soon.
  14. Man you don't even have to look close to see the buns on the table. Their are two little ones she is lying on. .......OK!
  15. Try Southeastern Equipment Company Inc. phone# 706-798-7500 hope this helps.
  16. The feet on the table ok, but those two big brown turds stacked on top of each other on the table has got to go.
  17. Welcome and looks like you have great taste in trucks.
  18. Do you think that ride may have been a wake up call to the both of those OLD kids?I'm surprised that Jay didn't jump out of the car and say( man lets do that again) and laugh.
  19. B 61 with a B 75 radiator. Looks like they kept the 61 hood since it don't fit so well. I hope it cools better.
  20. So are a bunch of us. We are fresh out of them down here.
  21. LOL......you can get better quarter mile times that way.
  22. Never saw these cars until I started to show my 1973 Mustang back in 1982. Then it was a whole new ballgame for me. You learn so much more when you own a piece of history.
  23. Yes it is sad to see something great go away. I recall the old round house and train shed here. It was east of town and it is all gone. Made room for a Penske Truck Rental. Once it's gone can't get it back.
  24. I can see turning down a 4-8-4 or something huge, but that is a perfect size. In Cowan, TN there were some folks that restored a small engine and used it to pick up their mail down their long driveway. If I recall, it was a 2-4-0 we call a very small engine. It sits by the Depot and R/R tracks as a tourist attraction for kids. This town was a R/R town because they had pusher engines sitting to help trains over Monteagle Mt.
  25. Just be careful, cause THE BIG BAD WOLF is in the woods. He can put the whammie on the bulldog. He can huff and puff, ya know..
