Barry, I do my best during the TOO CONFUSING issues. I was not nearly lost then as much as I am now.
  3. Man........I hate to see that. People just don't care. Maybe you could spark some interest with another steam society, maybe from another state? Is the cab and other parts there?
  4. Not trying to steal the thread but looks like part of a front or rear seal.
  5. Totally FASCINATING! I can now see why my dad decided to work on Steam Locomotives with L&N RailRoad as a Fireman. He used to take me to Centennial Park and show me all about how to run one of the big steam locomotives. We have here in Nashville a 4-8-4 that has sat since they built a spur in 1952. I always thought it needed to be under the shed at Union Station. But none of the politicians here has figured it out or don't care.
  6. Olsons by all means. Ditto.
  7. The year I was born and we had two presidents. Eisenhower and Truman. When I first saw it, I thought it would look great in Camo.
  8. Paul.....I would definitely build first a fallout bunker, just encase.
  9. Larry, i've been looking for Battlestar on You Tube when camera was inside and you were shifting. One of your early showings. I cannot find it. I thought it was really good.
  10. Larry, i'm talking about using hard grease, not oil. Oil and grease won't hurt those ole Macks. That is why they are Bulldog Tough.
  11. I definitely need 2 Stainless B Model Hood Hinges that have good strength to hold up that kind of weight.
  12. Very Good looking Shepard. Do you have any plans on paint colors yet?
  13. I would probably drill a small hole and thread it for a zerk or grease fitting. And just grease it now and then. There is a company called Lee Spring or leespring.com out of New York that has every kind of spring. I have their catalog and was in need of a new clutch spring, when I had the clutch and pressure plate rebuilt for the Mack. They had the exact spring I needed. They show the tensile strength and dimensions of any of their springs when you order from them.
  14. Too Cool!! Did the pooch come with the deal?Or is it his truck?
  15. Welcome to the Bulldog Palace. Hope you enjoy your stay.
  16. LOL, I like it . You have stolen my ideas for camping. I also want to go to the Drive-in Theater sometime. I have one question. Where is the garage to park the Bulldog in to keep the elements off of it? Also a kitchen is important when you bring the wives. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
  17. I have boycotted TV back about 2004. I only see newspaper or TV at the g/f's house. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Sounds like both ways are a good idea. I could never figure out what strength the spring should be, usually too strong.
  19. On a Positive note Paul, just think...........you'll be closer to your Nations Capital, and then you can visit the White House on a regular basis. They also have a Donation Box inside the Capital Building. OH how Patriotic.
  20. Your probably correct Vlad. We are trying to put Colored in everything over here. I want to say that in the third photo that, may be a green R 190 International behind the subject truck?
  21. I really was being honest. I did not hear anything that day and it saddens me to know that this country did not recognize them, in any way. But I can and do honor them all in every war. I still go and visit my 3rd Great Grandfathers & family's graves. One was in 23rd Tennessee Infantry Co. F Martins Unit, Scudder Rifles from Unionville, Tn. Name was Steven Hiram Sanders was 36 years old when he gave his services to his homeland. The other's name was Dr. Amasa Webb Manire of the 24th Tennessee Co. A was a Private in a Medical Unit from Rockvale, Rutherford County Tennessee. Both gave of themselves to fight against Mr. Lincoln's War.
  22. Did I miss something this year about D-Day? I was watching the world news and local news on June 6, but I never saw anything pertaining to it. I only saw Muhammad Ali and his life.
  23. I just hope all is happy when you get there and get settled. Remember to buy an Isis Flag before you get to your destination, so no one will bother you and yours. You'll get everything for free, even security is great! Also put a light bulb on it at night so it can be seen for miles. Congratulations
  24. Larry, we only get relief from cold about April then the smoldering humidity sticks around until October, November, then turns off extreme cold until April. So we only get about 3 decent months unless rain saturates the country side with floods. We have little bitty car get togethers in grocery store parking lots. Rarely see anything like a real ThunderBolt etc. etc. AC Cobra. I think maybe Jay Leno or some rich tycoon has all of them cars or the Schiek of the burning sands. Back in the mid eighties me and the former wife went to Milan, Michigan to watch the Drag Racing. I honestly have not had a good time since then. It was great weather and the people were not obnoxious like they are here.
  25. Would have liked to seen a picture of the subject. So no comment.
