  2. Yes the dock areas were always an interesting place. When I worked for a warehouse, one night a semi pulled up and stopped in the road before backing into the dock. An older gentleman got out came up to the dock. said he had retired but the company needed him to drive for them. But they had given him a truck with no power steering. I bet he tried 12 times to back into our dock and finally decided he could not do it. So he told my boss and I that if we would do it for him that he would give us $20.00. The boss spoke up and told him we could not do it for if anything happened we did not want to be responsible. The driver finally, after another 8 more tries, he got into the dock cockeyed, but I was able to unload the paper cargo. mike
  3. Also same colors as our TN .......Hoover trucking co. mike
  4. Yes it is a Firetruck Bulldogboy. I visited this gentleman on his farm a year ago December. He was robbing a 237 engine of it's valve cover bolts for me to have. I looked it over real good and sat in it as he told me the story of it. He bought it from Nashville Int. Airport. It looks very good and is used on his farm as a water truck. I need to call him and see if he received my Christmas gift. I sent him a red Mack cap. He runs a pulling tractor called Bare Bones Binder. It is a red International. mike
  5. More TN. Macks. I hyope the photos came out. Did not see them load at the bottom of the page. mike
  6. Found this WHITE being useful in north Nashville. I think it hauls forklifts. mike
  7. Been trying for several years to get a photo of this SuperLiner but could not get close enough yet. It is to the left either loading or unloading. It is a tandem with a tank on the back and is some Enviromental Company. I'm still going to get closer photo next time. Tried to go look at the B Model but as I continued up the drive a sign stopped me and read "NO TRESPASSING" so I backed down the long driveway to the main road. I did get to set my camera for a closeup this time. mike
  8. I'da been waiting by the roadside filing my fingernails until the BETTER help got there. Saying Baby this is the way it's goina be. mike
  9. That is the first i've seen blown up. Nice to have help when needed. Rowdy have you taught her how to dismantle/install yet? mike
  10. You take that truck to the shows and I'm sure you would be a hit. That's right think big anybody can get a radiator shell. You could roll up the doors and show all of your models. mike
  11. Vinny you better rush on down to the ATM machine tonight and go get that truck tomorrow morning. mike
  12. Mark if you buy a Beer or Coke truck with all of the roll up doors then you could display all of your models that way instead of just buying a piece of the truck. mike
  13. Looks like Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks. Sorry about the Steelers. Now with these two teams going for the Super Bowl, how many of you guys think that the Broncos will WIN it in 2 weeks? mike
  14. I've been studying this idea also. I called last week a company in Texas, Don Hart Radiator Service. He told me that they clean them with hot steam and use POR 15 for any rust. The cost to do this to each tank was what stunned me. He said they coat them with a chemical and weld any busted through rust holes or pin holes. The cost to freight those and his cost was out the roof. If you can weld and use POR 15 to eat the rust and your tanks are not damaged badly, then I believe it want cost you too much. mike
  15. Nursing Homes are a good place to get a good meal and cheaper. Plus, you may get lucky there. mike
  16. I've been buying my Wix filters from NAPA also the secondary fuel filter. Going from memory 51033 or 1233 in a Wix. Glenn gave you a Mack part number. The parts house will hopefully cross the number and find it. mike
  17. Looks Mack good all the way. Keep up the nice work. mike
  18. Thanks, for I need all the help I can get. Welcome to BMT, where there is never a dull moment. Were you acquainted with Ronnie Sox or the engine builder "Smokey" ? mike
  19. I figured we would get a phone call collect, to send money. mike
  20. I know what you mean. I have a photo that I took several weeks ago of a Super Liner that I seem to always be without my camera when it has come around. I have been trying to capture this Super Liner for 3 years now. Unfortunately when I found it was at it's workplace unloading and I could not get a close up of it. But will post it never the less Tuesday when I go back to my work computer. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing with us. mike
  21. But J.......do you like crab cakes? They seem to stay in season. mike
  22. Seems like Watts sells the style you want. Been awhile since I checked but worth the look in the B Model section of their site. mike
  23. So how would a END 673 react to this transmission TRQ 7210 ? I would think maybe a dog to shift and lug the motor?Mine has the TRD72 Duplex. I find it very interesting about the many uses of engines and transmissions that Mack used. I have not done my homework on this. mike
  24. I wonder what he would get if he picks up a Winfall Delish? mike
