  1. Sounds like a crock of $@&: brown nose in LMAO. No offense Vin. Can't believe people when they say they like you. mike
  2. I'm sure they think if you can own a truck or trucks then, you have deep pockets already. mike
  3. Welcome to the Family not a club, as the hat said. We do moan and groan at each other cause of still have growing pains. I'm guessing if your Mack is a 1974 then maybe it is an R Model or cab over F ? We all like photos hope to see them soon. mike
  4. My 2 cents in wonder also of these motors are to be able to accommodate the same transmissions without designing a newer version for the latest motor? I don't know. mike
  5. The Best Of Luck! mike
  6. Wish I knew but sorry I'm not any help here. Help is coming soon. mike
  7. In my detached garage where I keep the Mack I use a propane tank to keep it toasty. I need to buy a furnace for the ceiling in a back corner away from the truck but have had to take things in steps. Insulation and paneling was next after the garage went up. Have fans out there but do not run them while cold. Not sure it would be a good idea to have a pilot light on with possible spray painting tho I don't spray paint much. I do have a pullout fan in the back of the garage near the ceiling. This needs covered during the winter but don't. Do I hear suggestions out there? mike
  8. John 8:7 It goes for me especially at all times. mike
  9. Have you been given the Castor Oil treatment each week you would not have gotten the flu. Old remedies are hardly used anymore and people are getting sick more often. mike
  10. It says that I have reached my likes for the day,so I have no good words of wisdom to say. It has caused me to be a very disappointed old guy from a long gone era. It seems that the majority rules right or wrong. I can only get satisfaction from knowing that heaven is not too far away. mike
  11. I know that is a bummer. I keep a fan in my basement going 24/7 and 365. I have been doing this for probably 8 years now at this house. The Mack garage gets no help. I have to remember that the old Mack sat out in the elements for many years before it got to stay inside. mike
  12. No.....actually Larry has his hands in his pockets holding his gun with the red laser beam coming out. mike
  13. Wrong Ken.....he is with white coat , white socks. He was so excited he forgot his pants that morning. mike
  14. Looks like Mack Heaven. Just needs a nice covered patio and barbecue pit with Mack Nuts around celebrating having fun. mike
  15. Tell it like it is Ernie. Good stuff there. Thanks for posting. Makes me want to go out and buy more ammo. mike
  16. All of the above. Owning a Mack or any semi truck was a totally insane idea, as if I did not have enough on my plate at the time. I had been lurking around for several years and was enjoying the BS. Especially Rob Swallows Road Kill Cafe and Momma his wife. It became the place I wanted to go when you could let your hair down. mike
  17. Exactly my thoughts. I never thought the B Cab had visibility problems as small as it is. mike
  18. I believe he has the right idea. He atleast kept the body close to the stock height. I like it. mike
  19. Same with me. I could not go with 1-3/4 because it was not detailed enough for me. I have the white tow truck, same size and a Route 66 B Model in 1-3/4. Bigger is better. I could not find a B Model Dump or a B Model Low Boy but plenty of IH Dozers were available from First Gear several years ago when I was a member of their club. mike
  20. LOL........Larry I believe your going to have ta punch a pin hole size hole in that airline so those wipers won't fly off the windshield. LMAO. mike
  21. I saw that fly-by several years ago. I still enjoy it each time. I like the one that shows a German pilot climb into the cockpit of a ME 109 talks German to a ground crewman before startup. You can hear the release of the gyro starter spin the prop, making a load noise. Then takes off from a grass airstrip. Thanks for showing Ken. mike
  22. I Love That Word. I was wondering when someone would say it. Now Doing It is when we have accomplished something GREAT! mike
