  10. I have a photo of a nice B Model from east Tennessee during a show that has the conversion from a mixer to a flatbed that i'll post later today that i'll show you. He carries his show car on it. The truck itself is a show winner in my opinion. mike

LOL I followed Tommy Ivo, Don " Swamp Rat" Garlit, Ed " The Ace " McCulloch, Gene Snow, Tom " The MonGoose" McEwen, Shirley " Cha Cha Mulldowney, Eddie Hill, Dick & Kim LaHaie, Dino Don Nickolson, Bill " Grumpy" Jenkins, Bob Glidden, and last but never least my best guy was Ronnie Sox. I sure miss him. mike

  13. I believe you will make it just fine. Are you pulling or bobtailing? I'm sure it will get some thumbs up from other trucks.Take a video of it if you can. Let us know how it went. It should be a good show. Too bad I cannot follow you up with my B Model. mike
  14. If my memory serves me correct, I recall this being an old Great Dane from back in the 1950's because I have been seeing this trailer since about 1962. It has been parked there ever since. I'm going by the scroll work on top front. It is a single axle. I've been trying to find someone at home for a year or more and have not had luck yet. It is on the main hwy going south from Chapelhill, Tn.just outside of town.past the Sonic. Hint, Hint. mike
  15. WOW....and I thought it was about one of those early 90's that the Ford Taurus SHO was the fastest, with it's V6. mike
  16. Lookin good Leslie. Have you been sanding on that left fuel tank? mike
  17. I believe you did very well on your homework. Sometimes it takes alittle more patience, searching. These guys have another newer Mack but I fail to recall what model. mike

  19. Tim, that Liner still looks very proud. I believe it still has some life to give or should I say work to be done. Thanks for sharing this photo. mike
  20. Been trying to take a photo of this Liner for several years,in Nashville, it just would not stay still for long. Found it about 20 miles north of the city at work while wrecking an old school. It said Modern Day Wrecking on the doors, Nashville, TN. I don't have a clue to what year etc. etc. mike
  21. For your Dining Pleasure the latest news from The Tennessean newspaper in Nashville reads this in the Local & Business section. Obituaries column, a Mr. H. Edward Hildebrand passed 7/5/2013 his career included the invention of the equipment that injected the cream filling into the Hostess Twinkie. I should add that he was a former New Yorker that ventured SOUTH. mike

Funny this comes up but I've been throwing away stuff that I thought will always be important but lately feel none of my old certificates, ribbons, trophies are important .
