  3. Thanks Paul for posting this. I remember George Montgomery when he ran a 33 and a 41 Willys. Those were indeed the good ole days of racing. I used to build both model cars of his Willys. I won first place in a model contest with the 33 Willys in about 1971. I hope you will post a photo of your 55 when you can. I know what it looks and feels like when the front end is coming off the ground in a 55 Chevy. I got the opportunity to do so in 1965. I was 12 years old at the time and it was a thrill. I guess because my brother oppted to ride in the back seat. It had a balanced 265 V8, Muncie 4 speed with 4.56 rear. It came off the ground at all shifts but 4th, but it was quick. mike
  4. How does one find and use the likes page or whatever it is? mike

What happened to Otherdog Grilling Machine? He always cooks a feast on holidays. Shows us those mouth watering recipes. Ice cold beverages. Nothing.....I can't believe he would let this important day slide on by. He musta slept this day off. mike
  16. Does she use the tracks for a public toilet often? She should not put tootsie rolls on the track could cause a derail. mike

  19. I've always found where water pooles, dirt is inevitable and forms rust, even when no signs of leakage are present. It is good practice to change the rubber especially before painting so there is not a line. Unless you are wanting to make a fast buck, or cutting corners. mike
  20. I'm glad this subject came up. I toyed with asking for quite sometime but did not. But since some of you have, I like the looks of a tandem setup with any of the black or chrome, stainless fenders, full or half. For some unknown reason, I cannot get used to seeing a full fender setup on a single axle, whether it is chrome, black, painted or whatever, and single axle is what I have. I have the quarter fenders but wished they made a half fender. mike
  21. Mike did you take the windows out also and do it up right, and ready for new rubber? mike
  22. I bet it felt like a mortar shell hit near by. Many regards in getting it fixed again. mike
  23. We get the Chinese junk and they get Made in USA valuables. Go figure. mike
  24. Vinny, I have not been up close to it, but looks like the hood is split on the left front near the hinge. From a distance what I can tell it does not look too bad a shape for the age. I don't have a clue what year it is. mike
