  1. And A Happy B Day to ya. mike
  2. Yes I hate to here of it. This country has too many sick in the head people in it. They will only get some jail time if caught and will get out and live in your neighborhood and let some woman keep him clothed and fed and a roof over his head, plenty of beer, cigarettes, sex and the list goes on. We tax payers are only helping them Courtesy of our Government. Sorry could not help it. mike
  3. I would go along with BC Mack. I have dropped the pan and take out the bearings a couple at a time and get some lube on them, install then try it. But it's not the best way. Those bearings are dang expensive to replace and further more they are hard to find. Do not throw anything away. Your bearings can be rebabetted just like new when you send them out to a engine builder, machine shop. Remember to take one step at a time. mike
  4. That is an interesting find. Plastic bumper you say. I hope that will be the case. mike
  5. Yes, Madison is a nice place to visit. It is a clean and pretty town. House on the Rock is an unusual place to visit, but worth the time. I can't remember the village we visited that had some interesting buildings. mike
  6. Ten days from now will be the day many lives were lost 69 years ago, trying to swarm several beaches in Normandy, France June 6th, 1944. Watching the movie "Saving Private Ryan" will give a person a better understanding of what these men's responsibilities were for the protection of many people, including the USA. I honor the soldiers mike
  7. Hey Ed.....turn off the Beach Boys music......"Good Vibrations" mike
  8. I like your opinion Matt. I do respect that, wish everyone felt the same about all vehicles. My dad worked for Ford Glass Plant here in Nashville and we could get any vehicle at a reduced price, actually 2 percent under dealers cost. I like all vehicles, we have had mostly Fords and Chevy's in the family since 1927. We had one F100 that had the 360 engine and was a 1968 pickup. I liked it better than any Ford pickup that my dad owned. I never knew that it was a big block motor until reading your post tonight. I bought the 1966 Ford Galaxie from my dad when I was in my senior year of high school and it had a 352 ci 4 barrel carter and changed it to the 600 holly carb. for, don't remember why reason. I rarely see those cars any more. It was a good solid car. I do remember putting 5 dollars worth of fuel would fill up the tank. mike

  10. Yes thanks. It has been a long time since seeing that movie. I bet Warren would squeel if he got gigged like Ned did. I wonder if the Boy Scouts would consider this a good movie to watch before turning in at night? mike
  11. No i've seen oil seep from the inner wheel seal. Gets all over the tire if you drive it. That is what had me wondering if you were changing the wheel seal cause of leakage. mike
  12. I have used a hammers wooden handle. A brass punch would be the best tool. mike
  13. I wonder if oil seeped out the bearing seal causing a repair? mike

  21. These fuel lines are a press fit and need no rubber anything. If you get a burr under them, they will leak, and they become useless. The return single line from the injectors is different. If it leaks you can put an o-ring inplace or whatever fits because this line has no pressure on it. The pump shop said they can get new lines that are straight lines only. But, you have to bend them yourself. ( Don't throw away old lines )They did say that all six lines are equal lengths. Note: These numbers are for the END 673 American Bosch Line #1 203GC3213A #2 203GC3214A #3 203GC3163 #4 203GC3164 #5 203GC3165 #6 203GC3166 mike
  22. This is the ends of the fuel lines. mike
  23. I called the pump shop today and they told me to bring a line over tomorrow. I'll do this while on lunch break. The parts man and I already figured the rubber grommets should standup to any diesel fuels. This is going to get interesting ( It always does ). I have a strong feeling nobody has them, so they will probably have to be made or windup at an industrial rubber company and see if they can play with the idea. The question is......how long is this going to take? We'll see. I hope not all summer. mike
