  1. It's makes me think 1947 also. It would have come out the fall of 1946. Because of the war ending in May of 1945 the auto industry started the lines for the general population in fall of1946. I'm pretty sure this is correct. mike
  2. Looks like he's taking a break and doing some site seeing. Or maybe a whiz. mike
  3. It's like the Heartbreak Hotel. You can check in but never check out. Welcome to BMT but fly at your own risk. mike
  4. Funny you say J. I was thinking the same thing. Up to the minute weather reports from the OD weather station has helped me get into work on time. But the blondes has kept me interested in my work all day long. mike
  5. Surely Larry that was not the brakes smoking. LOL I'm proud of ya and the ole B. It did it's job again. Got ya there and back safely. mike
  6. Yes......how sweet tha sound. mike
  7. The fleet is a nice one Vinny, just stay away from the Winfall wimmins and you can keep the fleet longer. When I was 13 my dad bought me a Craftsman riding lawn mower. It was our first rider and I was nuts about it. I took off the exhaust and put a straight pipe on it and broke off a stud and got my butte in trouble. Sometimes I think I remember too much. mike
  8. It is the outer area that you can put a pint of clean oil in if you want to. If you work that truck, then you may want to put oil up to the line mark. It does not care how much you put in, it s a good design. Kind of reminds me of a K&N filter cause it needs washing out occasionally. It seems to me a more reasonable cost saving method cause, you only pay for a small amount of oil in which most of us have on our shelf. Just my penny's worth. mike
  9. Me too......just glad to see ya save a good truck. Well wishes! mike
  10. I would not mind having the 69 Boss 429 Mustang. The teacher can teach me to drive the stang. mike
  11. Yes sir, it sure has the good looks. Be nice to see more. mike
  12. Is this one of those 50 / 50 relationships? I once had a 10 / 90 relationship. mike
  13. Bring him on down Paul. We have Brushey Mtn. Prison near Livingston, Tn. He'll love that place after 40 years. I've been near the place back in the summer of 93. It was scary and I don't believe a rabbit could survive the terrain. Facility......ha ha mike
  14. Ya mean.........not even try and save a lady? Even a Winfall lady? mike
  15. Thought I would post these of yesterday's bike ride. Saw more but could not get to the trucks. mike
  16. Mine had so much grease that I scraped, did not have to do the sand, only pressure washed. I will not use sand because of it's moisture content. I only use it when I take parts from it, like , battery boxes etc. Regards Mike mike
  17. I'd be a little hesitant doing that cause, them thangs can throw out a flame and burn your eyebrows. LOL mike
  18. Yeah man. I needed one when I had my first car. It was a 1966 Comet with a 200 ci 6 cylinder, 3 speed on the fly back in 1971. It would spin the tires when it rained or in gravels, only. mike
  19. I saw a fleet of those this morning in Elkton, Ky. But could not get a photo. Sometimes will on the GoldWing it's difficult to find a place to pullover. mike
  20. Nice lookin R and looks like it stayed all Mack, by the looks of the mudflaps. mike
  21. Welcome, And 3rd on the list for photos. We like wimmins pictures too. mike
  22. Thanks rowdy, I'll look that up. I did call my lawyer but he did not mention the adverse possession term. This man did move his building but I know he is a very unhappy guy now. My only concern now is, I also own a huge hackberry tree that is next to his building. mike
  23. I have seen the tan or some might call it beige. It was in a B Model that had been used in the grocery store business. I recall it was Marsh Grocery Store in Indiana. This tractor is listed in the registry and is for sale in Clarksville,Tn off hwy. 31 and is sitting near the road for anyone to see it. The exterior is green and yellow. Mike
  24. Scares me knowing more are now moving into my neighborhood. I have one across the street from me. He keeps a good watch on what I'm doing. Every time I go to the mailbox, he comes out on the front porch and takes a smoke and watches me. Last year a new neighbor came over while I was mowing and in conversation, said he knew that someone was on my property. I told him that I was aware of it but had not done anything about it yet. So I decided to get a surveyor out to take a look. Sure enough the other neighbor was over the line 10 ' ft. I called the over the line neighbor and let him know. He was unaware he told me and said he did not have enough property as it was. He wanted to know how much time I would give him to move his building and I told how's 30 days. To make a long story short, he and the family likes to stand and stare when I'm mowing. Ya got to love'em. mike
  25. Yes sir, I like that one. It would be like having Ronald Reagan back in office. Thanks for posting Rowdy and comment Hatcity. mike
