  3. I had a former wife that told me to use it for my casket. The funeral may be cheaper. mike
  4. Tom, How dare you leave her out in the elements. Looks like she has already been frost bitten. I recall trains had a loop that caught a mail bag when passing a station when the train could not stop. I will send you one so ya can still keep going without stopping for your KW. mike
  5. My luck would be if it looked like my garage door was open, then someone would run into it thinking it would be easy to steal my cars and then sue me for getting hurt on my property. mike
  6. Mark, I guess that brown spot was from sitting in chocolate and or the pollock norm. The joke was how does a pollock put his pants on? Brown spot in back and yellow spot in front. Good luck hiding the spot mike
  7. Not sure also but the round discs are available from WATTS and are about 4 inches in diameter and has a 3/4 bolt size hole in the center. Can you measure your application and show us by photo, what you have? mike
  8. Hey Mark, I would have to install taillights on that Chevy. Ya would not want to get rearended. mike
  9. I guess all of those heaters had the resistor wire, mine also. Nice and healthy looking B Model there bluebonnet. Keep on enjoying it. mike
  10. Glenn, You are da man. It sure is a relief to know you were on short final. I went back to a thread that you talked about your training and looks like you have some skills behind your belt. I have only had a couple of close calls. On takeoff at end of runway 20@ about 800 msl a friend and I was looking south and in cockpit gauges a twin was crossing the south end coming from about 170 degrees and we just did see it in time before a bad mishap. I lowered the nose and he spoke to me but no time for explaining. I still believe the FAA has the better idea as to how an airplane is to approach any busy airport, big or small. Patten altitude @ our field is 1500msl and I feel everyone should stay out of the pattern until they are in the proper approach area, such as downwind, or say 5 mile final with jets. DO NOT CROSS MIDFIELD at anytime day or night. I believe it will keep down further incursions. I wish all pilots would adher to this idea. mike
  11. Right on target Glenn, On aircraft trainers (I call them) a richer mixure is formed by using carb heat. A lever pulled like a choke to send heat to the carb. And yes in aircraft it can ice up on a humid day. In B20Macks situation, if it is not giving trouble then don't fix it. But if you are having issues then send some heat from the exhaust manifold up to your carb. May have to modify a copper tube or plate. I would use some exhaust wrap and that would insulate it from the cold. But when it gets warmer outside then you may want to discard the heat to keep down a vapor lock issue. mike
  12. Man that mudflap needs a good cleaning. Mark can you turn it over and blast the other side?It would take several hours to pressure wash that flap. Good Luck mike
  13. I think OD has taken a photo of the B model before without the for sale sign? mike

  22. Rhasler, Can you give out his or an address so cards can be sent to him for a speedy recovery, and his Mack friends and family may send well wishes and prayers? mike
  23. Many Thanks Mack Family. Got mom to the hospital for out patient surgery at 5;45a.m. yesterday. And to my surprise, the waiting room was full of people ready for surgery of all kinds. Got a room at about 7;00a.m. and they took her for prep at 9;30a.m. Surgery took several hours and was out of surgery by 1;00p.m. All went well as a stint was put in a leg for better blood flow. I was glad that I wanted them to put her out with very little, anistisia. She got to go home about 6;00p.m. I'm glad the care provider was there waiting for us. I did not stay long since I was worn out from being up most of the night before. So as I proceed home and about 5 minutes out on the highway, I get an urgent call from the care provider that mom had fallen into the bathtub and had a golfball size knot on her head. I'm thinking (what else is going to happen to her.) So to make a long story short, she is doing fine and thanks all of you guys for the moral support and prayers. Thanking all of you guys! mike
  24. Ok, i've been most of today trying to catchup with the threads. Anyway would have said Happy Thanksgiving if the g/f had been home but not. Mom and I spent Thanksgiving together. Was going to take her to eat at the Cracker Barrel, but got cold feet when I saw the line out on the porch.I could not put her through the long wait. But she and I took a 30 minute ride which wore her out. Just went around the Franklin area and back to her home. She said that it was ok, that she was just satisfied having her son with her on this thanksgiving day. I took her home and fixed us some soup since she liked that. She is having surgery this monday at 6 a.m. and I don't think she will be coming back to her home. So looks like a big decision will need to be made soon by me as to a nursing home or assisted living. All saving funds are almost gone and her home will have to be sold. So i'm just thankful to still have my mom this year for Thanksgiving. To All a Good Holiday and remember your mom's mike
