Rob, ya got to give Tom credit for diggin holes.........his own. He is bored being home with little to do an the heat is draining his energy. He will be fine when he gets the phone call to go back on the road again, taking photos and seeing the countryside. mike

Hi Mark, Just wondered if you found the rubber grommet for the base? And I guess you tried Watts first maybe? I probably would take it and try to find a flat piece of rubber to match the thickness and trim if needed and then screw it on or get some 3m adhesive. mike -

Reminds me several years ago when my boss and his sons built my garage and ready for codes to inspect. No hurricane straps on my garage and the codes guy called me and put the red tag on my door. I had to tell my boss that codes was not going to ok the job until some straps were put on. Boss was not a happy camper. At least after several weeks went by the straps were finally installed. And yes I will be more selective next time any job is needed done at home. I was going to ask Heavygunner if the big bad wolf huffed and puffed and blew his garage down. mike

ernie, i guess we need to form an ole farts club and sit around and tell stories. i get to sit around for about 6-8 weeks after my surgery last week. i'm gettin stir crazy already. good luck on the heal time, you and mowerman. mike p.s. would it make you feel better if i sent you something to blow up? tom, don't believe i can make it this time. i had rotator cuff surgery this past thursday on my right shoulder. it was more extensive than they thought it would be. i'm laying around taking pain killer tabs and advil for inflammation. finally getting alittle much needed sleep when possible sitting up on the couch. i hope you have a good time and take some photos. it is no fun laying up for the summer. mike

I believe Rob is saying you may have a restriction in the vent line on that side tank. Your old cap was leaking, being the vent. Now that you have a non leaking cap, you also have no vent with the new cap is sealing so well as is supposed to do. Check the vent line behind or on top of your tank for a restricted line or hose. mike

your cable ends for the positive should be a larger hole than the negative ends that connect to your batteries. yes the diagram will be for either set up. the four batteries are for four six volt batteries where the two 12 volt batteries are not put together in series. mike
