  1. You secure your dates and we'll make sure we hook you up with a trip plan. There are many truck collections and other interesting sights to see, we just need to know when you are coming to line things up for you.
  2. These were available on Josh's site, Supershowrigs.com. Bob is holding class from his office. Doug http://www.supershow...osh/1251%20.jpg http://www.supershow...osh/1252%20.jpg
  3. I thought you were speaking of Bob's truck. I will look and see if I have anything.
  4. Whose truck was it? I may have something or may be able to direct you to a site that has pics of it. Doug
  5. I watch the original series on BBC, the american version is a predictable copy of the original. The big rig BBC show was hilarious, I'm sure this new episode is good as well. I will watch it when I get a chance.
  6. You absolutely have to make the ATCA National Meet in Macungie, Pennsylvania. It is June 15 &16 2012, it has been called the "greatest antique truck show in the world" and is well worth checking out! As Mike also stated, you can visit the Mack Customer Center and the Macungie Assembly Division when in the area.
  7. I found a copy of the brochure, scanned it but can't seem to get it from my work computer to the home computer. I'm not giving up, I'll get it!
  8. One day I wouldn't mind finding out. My brother forgot to take his to his reception when he got married so his never was opened. Then I went and forgot mine when I got married, so it hasn't been opened. Maybe I'll open it when the daughter graduates.
  9. I don't know what this thing is filled with, but it must be good! http://www.ebay.com/...3#ht_873wt_1270
  10. Without doing any research, I would think Federal or Corbitt.
  11. I have a brochure on a KW Skidder. They were short lived and of course mainly in the northwestern US.
  12. The Freedom Edition was cosmetic but the big part was the bumper to mudflap warranty. Everything was covered under warranty for 3 years and 300,000 miles. I think I have an ad with all of the info. I'll have to see if I can dig it up. They made RW's & MH's, only 200 total, much like the Magnum editions. They were only offered one year, 1987?
  13. I posted the Clariben Brochure on the Wiki link several years ago. http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/tutorials/article/8-clariben-hood-brochure-aftermarket/
  14. This was a pretty cool clip that arose on Facebook. Nice F-model, wonder where it is now?
  15. Mine was a Ryder purchase when new, 1 of 44.
  16. Stick with a 350 or 400 mechanical. You will be better off.
  17. I shared the photo with Don at the Mack Trucks Historical Museum and Harvey Eckart, a Mack Fire Apparatus Historian. Each agreed that it was probably a tunnel support vehicle out of the New York Port Authority. They purchased so much equipment that it may be difficult to pin any info down without specifics.
  18. I wondered what ever became of the 4X4 MH UPSers. They were put together by Mack. I think they were used to pull trailers over the Rocky's. There is an article in a Mack publication from that time period that gave the info.
  19. The C-model fire emblem was also used on buses, It was large and has the side profile of the old dog and Mack written on it. The Cruise liner emblem comes with a silver or gold Bulldog. As far as I know it was only used on the first year Cruise-liner's from 1975. It was never used on anything else again. There is more info on a post some time ago that was about Mack emblems. I'll see if I can find the post. Here it is... http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/834-model-specific-mack-emblems/page__hl__%2Bmack+%2Bemblems__fromsearch__1
  20. Yeah! Lets see some pics of the B-model ornament. I need to make the trek to TSC to pick one up. Any additional info would be beneficial, UPC, packaging.. .Doug
  21. I believe this was a tunnel support vehicle. Short wheelbase for turning around in the tight confines. It was probably fitted with a winch or two for lifting and tearing. the plated front end was for pushing disabled vehicles out of the tunnel. Through the 1990's and maybe even later, this equipment was mounted on MR chassis.
  22. The F belongs to Jay & Sharon Barbe from Ohio.
  23. Where were you? We were all wondering what became of you for Hagerstown, Winchester and Lititz! not to sound too sappy, but, we missed you..
