  4. There is some interest in having rear cab panels and rocker panels for L-model cabs reproduced. The sheetmetal shop feels that the rear panel can be made available for approximately $600.00. Shipping, delivery or pickup will be at actual cost from Eastern Pennsylvania. Please advise if there is an interest as there is a minimum of 10 order and we don't need quite that many. These panels from Mack and the last reproductions available are history. This may be the opportunity you needed to get that rear cab panel that is so often rusted out and dented. Please post your interest. Thanks, Doug
  5. I believe the Western Contractor Hood is the Facelift RD (new style) The cowl panels for the new style hood are similar to a Superliner and have no contour like the old style R or Rd Pre-Facelift. This would consist of the mating surface between the cab and hood. I'd say it is more work that it is worth.
  6. Mother Nature sure didn't want us to get together this weekend! The 2009 ATCA National Meet in "Macspongie" will certainly be hailed as a memorable event. Even with the dreary weather, the final number of trucks was 464. We are thrilled with the attendance and can only imagine what the turnout would have been with nice weather. The dominant topic of discussion was about how many enthusiasts were walking around in the rain with smiles on their faces. Hundreds of people were soaking wet, some with umbrellas, most not, smiling and having a great time. It just goes to show the enthusiasm and dedication that our members have for the ATCA. We really are "Truckin' Nuts". Thanks to all for their patience, understanding and resilience. The ATCA National Meet Show Committee
  7. Like I said, every time you see me go by, remind me. I can announce it if I get reminded. I'll be pulled in so many directions I'll end the weekend looking like Stretch Armstrong. I missed the ATHS discussion board photo last year because I was entertaining a group of videographers. Still haven't seen the finished product. Doug
  8. Hey gang, When you see me buzzing around the show, keep reminding me about noon on Saturday. I have a hard time remembering these type of things when being pulled in so many directions. I hope to enjoy some of the show this year. I should have my camera and notepad with me to get some stories for Double Clutch. Please don't run from me if I am headed your way. Doug
  9. Mack is the first truck buyers from other countries look for. The are probably more popular overseas and in South America than that are in the USA now. (Sorry I just couldn't resist.)
  10. Neil, Rene, Mackboy here on BMT, has a "Freedom Edition" over in the Netherlands. He may have tracked down the paint codes as I believe his has been repainted. He may see this post or you may just want to send him a message here on BMT. If he doesn't have it, I know of an MH "Freedom Edition" that is sitting. Would the code be on the door frame decal?Doug
  11. I'd have to look if I have the actual description, this is what I can recall. Elite - Gold Bulldog (this is when it came back around) Oval Bulldog emblems on hood Elite emblems on hood Bulldog labeled aluminum wheels (if so equipped, I believe most were) Interior trim package This was very much like the Magnum, Freedom and Legend editions produced, The only one that specified powertrain was the Magnum. If I find an Elite listing I will let you know. Doug
  12. I added H-67 spec sheet info to the Wiki area. Thanks, Doug
  13. This is the support topic for the BMT WIKI Article H-67T Spec Sheet. Please post here if you have any questions or feedback for this article. You may also leave comments directly to the article by following the link above.
  14. The original H is what was referred to as the Cherry Picker as the cab was positioned over the engine with a flat floor. The H-67 has a lower cab with a dogbox. I do have the spec sheet and will post it as soon as I get a chance. Doug
  15. Just like he said, the Mack is a married unit, all attached. Transmissions described as 5x4 are for the most part, divorced. Linked by a driveshaft. Doug
  16. As I stated on the ATCA discussion page. There were very few changes made to the Neway air ride over the years. Nearly any of them would be right at home on your Brock. Doug
  17. Are you looking for the H-61 spec sheet? I will look to see if I have it. Doug
  18. Are you looking for the H-61 spec sheet? I will look to see if I have it. Doug
  19. FYI- The Macungie Assembly Facility will be open on Saturday June 20th for a walk through tour. This tour is a treat offered by Mack Trucks to Antique Truck Club of America members and those spectators who attend the ATCA National Meet at Macungie Park each year. This year is the 30th Anniversary National Meet, Friday June 19, 8-6 - ATCA Family Reunion 6:30 -? Saturday June 20, 8-6 - band and light show 6-9 Sunday June 21, 8-12 - See You There! Doug
  20. Mark, That is an LT, they were made as LTL's with aluminum brackets and such or LTH with steel brackets. Each are getting pretty hard to come by unless you have deep pockets. Check out my album detailing the Bulldog rescue from last August. This is not something you find everyday. Good Luck with your search. Doug
  21. I have photos posted but thought I would create an album that I can keep updated with the trucks I have. Occasionally I sell something, (really I do!) and this album will be kept up to date with what is in my kennel.
  22. LT's were built in Allentown, I believe 5C, but I am not entirely sure. I know G's were built in 5C and that may be what is sticking in my head. The Hayward plant didn't open until around 1965. You can check out my gallery for some LT's we rescued last year. There is one more that came home after these, I think I am going to keep it. Doug
