i have a 2004 mack truck , model cx 613, with ac-460e engine, the truck , when driven for 15 minutes or 15 km`s , the check engine light comes on , flashes 3 times and the rad fans goes on high, the power drops, rpm`s around 1200, and if you push higher the truck shutters, also when you shut the truck down , the engine runs for about 5 seconds after key turned off. checked the codes at repair center, they said it is an, fmi 8 , which means abnormal response. but i have learned the code also is a communication for j1939, this has the truck in no work condition , also has had the engine control unit and j1939 , both replaced, any help will be appricated. you can contact me at my e-mail, coveydog_12@hotmail.com...thanks for help...
