    Also double check the points gap. Look to see if they are a little burnt. New ones are cheap. If they are outta whack the rise time in the coil will be incorrect resulting in a weak spark. Weren't you having concerns with this distributor? This is one of the MANY reasons that I went to 12 volts.

    I had enough ( barely ) foresight to eliminate the hunting expedition into the dark abyss of a door cavity. I went slow and carefull and came at the mounting stud from below and an upward angle to use the weight of the nut/washer to keep it in the socket.

    You forgot about the four black oxide washer head phillips drive screws that are holding the door panel on which has to come off because ONE of the mirror nuts is behind it.

    Windshield was replaced on Thursday. Glass guy came to the shop. Corporate sent a mirror assembly from Toledo off of a donor. Took me about an hour to switch the mirror. Hardest part was putting them thar nutts throo dem little holes in da door wiffout loosn em fur good! She all gooder now. PS; this rig is the only 4x4 ambulance that I've seen in our area!

    This was my day Wednesday. I tried to fix it to match the passenger mirror but the boss didn't like it. Management people have no sense of humor. The mirror has been broken long enough that other crews started signing it like a cast!

    A good clear picture would be great. I am bleeding the brakes on my A-30 and I can't wrap my brain around what you describe. The bleeder screws on my truck look like regular bleeders only larger. There is an upper and lower and they take a 7/16 wrench.

    Efficiency means a company can pay one driver to haul two trailers instead of two trucks and two drivers. Then a person is unemployed until the business picks up enough to bring a driver back. Don't get me wrong, I owned a business and currently work for a company that is very inefficient and it is frustating because that could be my pay raise they are waisting!

    If anybody else read the article, or you get a chance to, there were underpinnings of NAFTA. It was not directly stated but was noted that it would be easier for trucks to cross from Canada and Mexico as they have different limits than us. More questionable trucks from south of the border with non-english drivers. I do feel that it is a bunch of shit that drivers will be paid the same for longer trailers or more "legal" weight. If a driver has his tanker/haz-mat endorsement do you make the same bobtail or loaded? I would want to be paid more to haul gasoline vs pool water.

    ME? Wadda ya talkin 'bout! I just wait for Rob to open up his vunerabilities and post it here for all to see! Notice his avatar, the trucks are outside, parked there because they are out of fuel! O'dog is just bein' selfish and not sharin' his B parts with others.

    Just saw an article come up on Yahoo homepage about possible new legislation that would increase weights to well over the current 80,000 lb limit. They referenced Michigan and the limit there along with adding a 6th axle with brakes. Also mentioned was an increase in length. The length would allow doubles and triples. Of course some weirdo group wants to stop it citing possible increased deaths because of small cars. Don't cut-off trucks and drive in blind spots seems like a reasonable answer! From what I've seen, young girls in red cars are the worst, followed up by yuppies (male & female) driving luxury cars and suv's.

    It's nice to see all the pics but what a bunch of uneducated fools. In the A section, both of the trucks are L models. They discuss the grill, HELLOOOOOO!!!!!! Look at the windshield. A's and E's have a 1 piece, not a split 2 piece. That is the dead giveaway. I'm not saying they are stupid, just ignorant.
