I don't think that air will flow "backwards" through the system. Some older trucks that had air to hold the brake vs a spring could be backfed. I would have tried to adjust the rods as stated before till they released enough. Cage bolts are handy though!

I spent 9 months at NAS Millington. I remember the jet was on a post on southside in front of the mess hall. You would walk the bridge there to north side to go to the movies and the horse trails and the fishing ponds that were called gravy lake. I was there from jan '84 to Sept '84. Went to cherry point for a few months then on to el toro in california. Is silky sullivans still there?

Rolled up on this today. Driver jammed on the brakes and jacked it into the ditch. He was pulling doubles. Nobody was hurt. He was sitting in the seat talking on the phone when I got there. We were just heading back to the station and came onto this about 20 seconds after it happened. It took the city fire another 10 minutes to get there. Driver was fine, just shook up. This was his 8th month of driving!!!!

Find the Delco number and call NAPA. They might have a replacement as some Delco distributors were used on all kinds of different equipment. You might be surprised at what it also fits.

As I have stated in the past, DO NOT FORGET A FIRE EXTINGUISHER!!!! You don't need a truck fire because of mouse chewed wiring. Be ready to shut the truck off or yank the battery cables off quickly if needed. I hope she lights off strong for you.

The only non-factory bolts that I would even consider are from ARP. They probably don't stock "Mack" bolts but I would bet they have the same size and just as tough.
