  1. Buy it anyway. I have everything you need to make it a tandem. Let me know if it really only has 79k on it.
  2. "We use the electric over air solenoid valves connected to switches in the control console in the cab" Herb, What do I need to ask for to get therse parts. I want to hook them up to drain the oil and water from my wet tank when I'm finally getting past these spandex 2 wheeling bastards that insist on riding on truck routes.
  3. I'll bet that truck is really light. The dead axle can't steer. The tires are tight against the springs. It's probably a CF experiment from the days when they owned Freightliner.
  4. Is the CCA rating the same on both of them?
  5. F Model with low milage. Thad, this one has your name on it! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-MACK-F700-CAB-CHEAP-TRUCK-/170523992965?pt=Commercial_Trucks
  6. You're not missing anything. rhasler, where is your "area"? Rob, that White is just like the glider we saw for sale here in Raleigh. Would make a good parts truck for someone.
  7. "charged me $5,000 and sent me on my way" Was this a Mack dealer. If so, which one?
  8. Rob, Check this one out. http://www.fastline.com/v100/Hyster-FLETCHER-HEAVY-EQUIPMENT-SALES-HOT-SPRINGS-AR-equipment-detail-605c4739-5141-4cd2-aaaa-00b7c486907b.aspx
  9. Seems like those driving VW's wear the least amount of clothing.

    Wheels

I may have a set of wheels. Call me 919-932-3344, 24/7. David
  11. I remember one that sat on Frank George's lot in Binghamton, NY for about two years. Someone finally bought it and leased to Branch. That was late 60's / early 70's.
  12. I think the DM is a RD800. It would be nice if these guys knew what they were selling.
  13. Thanks for the help on the jinker def. How could a R 615 originally be a jinker?
  14. Ok, I'll bite. What is a "jinker"?
  15. "Has small A/C, coffee pot, microwave, fridge, and TV/DVD" Some people call this a "sleeper". I have a 36" that came off a R model sitting on the ground at my shop. It has a mud flap swinging in the crawl through hole and a window unit in the end. When it's above 95, you drive up to the gate and my German Shepherd sticks his head out, looks to see who it is, and then pulls back inside and goes back to his nap.
  16. Keep the truck "locked and loaded" and the 12 ga. UNlocked and loaded.
  17. "no air conditioning".............It's going to be 100 degrees here on Thursday and Friday!
  18. I noticed 2 triaxle Titans at Bergey's when I was on my way to Macungie. Do you know who's they were going to? They were Haines green.
  19. I wonder how that handles with a high load on air ride.
  20. I think the 611 nose will be about 2' too short. I have a toasted '73 897 to be parted out. Also 1200R24 tires. Call anytime 919-932-3344.

    From A Friend:

These 9 people were born in 7 different years. The one that's almost 9 months to the day is Al Gore. His DOB is 3-31-48.
  22. It may be almost gone or it may just need to be adjusted.
  23. It's part of their "culture". It goes with 50% in prison by the age of thirty, six kids by the age of twenty four with five different fathers (and not maried to any of them), walking around with their pans hanging down below their ass (holding them up with one hand and their underwear showing) and the 91% of this particular group that voted for P BO and still thing he's doing a good job.
  24. Is the pedal coming back up all the way by it self?
  25. I like the 'spension seat and the back up light on the truck. There's gota be a gun rack behind all those stickers!
