  1. All DM models are offset cabs. This one looks like it has always been a heavy haul tractor.
  2. The Cummins already has a RT14609 attached. I think that's what we 'll use. This auto turned out to be a 5800 series. They were used in 50 ton off road dumps in the 60's.
  3. Herb, It's out. Want us to ship it your way.

    Farrah

When Farrah got to Heaven, St. Peter gave her a wish. She said she would wish for all the children to be safe. Guess who died shortly thereafter.
  5. Tanker companies would spec this gear deleted just to save 2 pounds.
  6. Looks like a Flywheel PTO. Used on mixers so you can run the mixer when driving. You can remove it but you will need to remount the trans, extend the drive shaft and change the clutch.
  7. I guess this means my new name is Curtis.
  8. The Roadranger won't be as fast as the Mack. Check the overdrive ratios. The Mack 13 and 9 sp are both .71 to 1.
  9. It always rains in Macungie.
  10. Don't hold your breath while you wait. At current prices they'll just look nice sitting at the dealers. Our local dealer said other dealers are networking with them on pricing to move inventory.
  11. Pick a place, like Watt's booth @ noon on Sat.?
  12. I found another diagram closer to what you have. It shows: Right + 16PK-BE Right - 16PK Left + 16PK-GN Left - 16PK-BK + input keyed 16BN + input (from dome light) 16OE-WE Ground 16BK and 14BK
  13. Looks like 16B is the ground. 16BN comes from the CB post (may change to R) for the hot. B, W, and G come out of the radio for the speakers. B splits to 16B and goes to both speakers. G changes to 16G and goes to the left. W changes to 16W and goes to the right. This is from a basic wiring diagram. Most radios now have an input that is always hot to keep the settings and another input that is hot only when the key is on. Good luck.
  14. This truck isn't worth half of what they want for it. You can tell most of the listing is wrong just from looking at the pictures.
  15. The only difference between stupid and ignorant is............. You can't fix stupid.
  16. There was a time and place for unions. But it has come and gone.
  17. You can thank the unions for Brockway being shut down. Just like the US auto companies of today.
  18. Build yourself a small tank with either air presure or an electric pump to deliver fuel. Hook it directly to the injection pump and get the engine running. Then you can start looking for why your not getting fuel through the system.
  19. Make sure the drive shaft is timed.
  20. What's the frontloader with the red bumper?
  21. The cabs are different. But many of the parts are interchangable.
  22. That's sweet. I'll vote for one of those too.
  23. This won't apply if your truck has the long VIN.
  24. Pull up on the pedal and see if the lights go off. If so, pull the pin, buff it up, run a drill through the holes and put it back together. Over time the steel pin and aluminum pedal don't get along with each other very well.
