  1. Still a youngster. Though wise beyond his years. Happy Birthday!
  2. About ten years ago I took an alternator into a local shop that I had done a lot of business with. The owner told me $175 to rebuild. I told him the Mack dealer had them for $125. He told me "Maybe you should go there". I couldn't believe he let me walk out the door. I haven't been back since. The Mack dealer didn't have the rebuilt in stock so they gave me a new one for the rebuilt price. Sometimes you just get lucky. Moral of the story is shop around and see what's out there for price.
  3. I guess they don't work at night? Or they don't need to see where they're going?
  4. Figure out which one you need and I'll bring it to Macungie.
  5. Ken, I may have a mounting bracket if you need one.
  6. Call Dave at Gerhart's
  7. "a hendrickson would be better than a camelback"???????????????
  8. Maybe you've hit the "follow this topic" button?
  9. That means your screwed if you reputation proceeds you.
  10. I've already sent him their email address.
  11. Every state is different. Here you would license the truck for 25k and there would be no weight on the trailer plate.
  12. I got two of his PM's today. I thought about telling him he was required to pay a fee to get on my mailing list. If he agrees to pay, I'm going to give him Vinny's address to send the check to.
  13. That's what is enforced here in NC. That's why most run trailers with 9990# GVWR.
  14. My theory is either they don't own trucks and the pictures fulfill a need or they have very small dicks.
  15. Wonder if he'll ever get around to jobs and out of control spending?
  16. And gun control?
  17. The principles in Progressive are Obama supporters. Hence the name. They lost a lot of customers last year when that came out.
  18. A good parts counter person at a Mack dealer can look at the inframe kits for the 300, 350, and 400. Look for different part numbers on items like pistons. With the VIN on trucks with the three different engines you can check the injectors, cam and turbo. Only other difference is pump settings.
  19. Why stop at 350? For the same cost you can make it a 400.
  20. KUDOS Barry. Very well done. After spending nine years building houses in Florida retirement communities I learned you can't win an argument with a moron. Some of these people have nothing to do but watch soap operas and play shuffle board. The best thing you can do is say "I don't believe this conversation is going to be conducted in a professional manor. Therefore I choose to not continue it". And walk away.
  21. Question for the heavy haulers. If this was your rig and load, parked for the weekend, would you set the deck on the ground?
  22. One of my uncles had one of those. First track machine I ever "moved". I wouldn't say "operated". I remember it came with a wrench the size of a baseball bat for adjusting the tracks and you had to crank the turnbuckles to tilt the blade. Your lucky to find one in that good of shape and with a blade.
  23. Just go fishin'........................
  24. Looks like those experimental tubeless tires also.
