  1. I like the Mossberg 500 for nite stand duty................
  2. That looks like a Highpoint Garage truck. Haven't heard from Steve in a while.
  3. They look aftermarket to me. OEM is always better.
  4. Very nice parade. Thanks for posting. I like the self steering axles on the lowboys.
  5. "Now I just gotta figure out what to do with a bungee cord that's missing a hook." Hook the two ends together and use it as a big rubber band.
  6. Get the numbers off the trans so we can tell exactly what we're dealing with.
  7. Just change it to a T2090 or T2100 and pick up some more highway speed as a bonus.
  8. Rain?
  9. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200657935268&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Am I missing something here? Why are these worth as much as the trucks I've seen them on?
  10. So if I have this correct........ Doug Maney, Dave Igou, David, Leversole, Farmer52 (Ken), 75T (Greg), Firemack, Berry.
  11. Randy will have that straight bent over in the first 15 minutes.
  12. The 3" was added to the back of the cabs in 1973 when the dash was changed from hard green to brown vinyl. The short cabs had the the small grab handle and the +3 has the long (about 24").
  13. Here are some I took out west at AHTS 2010.....................
  14. Usually with a factory double frame, the second member is on the inside. It takes the place of the spacer plates at the trunion and the outside width stays the same as a single frame. Only difference is the length of the crossmembers.
  15. Waste Mgt has been running NG Macks in California for about ten years now.
  16. Here's my favorite DM800 (at least until mine is back together). Frank's truck, my pictures.

  18. Is the RW a factory double? Is the second piece on the outside or inside? You may be ok cleaning and painting with replacement of the second piece only. You could have those pieces made for a lot less than you can buy Mack frame rails.
  19. The RW looks like it came with a 6. The V8's had a two piece steering shaft with an aditional u joint to get around the engine.
  20. Paul, There's a Famous Dave's between Hauppaugh and Smithtown on Rt 347. It's the only good thing about going to my inlaws.
  21. I use two 12v (925cca) in all my trucks. This far south we don't have many mornings below freeziing and have never had problems with the change. Newer trucks come with only three 12v. We put both batteries on the driver side (closest to the starter) and unhook the cables from the other side. Run + and - from one battery to the starter and the two jumpers + to + and - to - (parallel hook up) between the two batteries.
  22. Try this.......... http://www.thecannonstore.com/details.asp?prodID=W10GB
  23. Didn't you get the memo........................................ Hello David, As you may know, BigMackTrucks.com had to move to a new dedicated server so we have enough room to grow! This is a really good thing but speed and performance doesn't come without a large price tag! The new server will cost well over $2000 per year plus bandwidth usage. That is a large amount for our host, Watt's Truck Center to absorb so some of our members suggested that we set up a VIP Membership option so that those that wish to help out can do so! We also set up a Benefactor group for those who wish to make a $150 lifetime donation to the forums! VIP Memberships cost just $25 per year and will also help us out greatly! Donating members will be upgraded to special membership groups and will have access to the new VIP Lounge private forum! I don't know what's going to go on in there but the only rule is what happens in the VIP Lounge, stays in the VIP Lounge! Donating members also receive extra upload space for attachments and gallery images! We also have an option for those that would like to advertise on the forums. Advertisers will receive a rotating banner ad at the top of every forum page for a full year for just $200. We only allow up to 6 advertisers at once to provide for maximum exposure. The only requirement is that you are advertising truck related products or service. Advertising fee's will also help fund our new server! If you would like more information...please visit this link: http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/20679-subscribe-to-bmt/ Again, we appreciate any and all support but keep in mind that donating to BMT is completely optional! We know times are tough and not everyone has the extra money available to donate. We will never charge a fee to use the forums or access Mack Truck Information! We just want to offer everyone a chance to support something that they enjoy! All donations will be used for current and future server costs! Thanks!
