  1. Here's a prototype for you to follow............ ac.bmp
  2. RW6xx is a 1/4" frame. RW7xx is a 3/8" frame. Two batteries on each side. Could be either 6 volt wired in series or 12 volt wired in parallel on each side. Then you have a positive and negative cable from each side to the starter.
  3. I have some. Call 919 932 3344. 24/7 Thanks, David
  4. The aftermarket look goes with unpainted fender extensions.
  5. Here's how they learn to drive those top heavy loads in Oklahoma.
  6. Rob, You forgot the "Blue Book add" for the optional transmission on the winch!
  7. That's what Bill said.
  8. I think Randy should go check out this truck. Maybe take Spot with him, just to give the guy a hard time.
  9. Rob, A 16-17 ft. drom will be imposable to find. Most of them were about ten feet long. You might consider an old 40 ft. dry van. You could cut it down to size and have some extra panels left for replacing the bad ones. Maybe even find one in stainless steel!
  10. What a woman. Buying her man a truck. Doesn't get any better than that. Can't beat a Mack.
  11. If it fits tight I'd weld together. If it doesn't fit tight, bore the gear and/ or turn the shaft and make a bushing. Press or weld it together.
  12. I would be "the man in the red shirt". And that's Berry that looking over my right solder in the second photo.
  13. Great pictures. Kind of preview of Macungie this weekend.
  14. Call Phil at 603 239 7008. They had 4 of them advertised.
  15. Have some way to cut the fuel if it's a runaway when it starts.
  16. What are we going to tell the people of South Carolina who could have had good paying jobs with Boeing but the Federal Government wouldn't let Boeing open a plant there? So they open somewhere else like say......Mexico!
  17. Why would they go through the mountains instead of straight down I85 ?
  18. THUMPER2, Welcome to the board. Are you Jerry, the owner? Can you tell us about the life and building of this truck?
  19. No they are not. I've mentioned twice in this thread you have aSuperliner ONE. Maybe it says 86 on the paper work but that truck was built long before that. Maybe the drive line was installed in the kit in 86. Post your VIN. I'm sure one of members here can tell you the build date for the factory portion.
  20. That would explain why you have a Superliner I frame and a Superliner II model year.
  21. I'm glad manufactures no longer mount the gear on the axle. In most wrecks the front tires end up at the fuel tanks. Seems like that would sent that shaft through the driver's belt buckle.
  22. Steel wheels on the front? Unless they pull a trailer with a 6' pin setting, doesn't look like the quarter fenders would be of much value.
  23. I have some R600 shafts that you could lengthen. Your truck looks like a Superliner I, I thought a '86 would be a Superliner II.
