  1. Thanks. Just wanted to be sure it wasn't Rob Swollows Area. He has a fetish for R model winch trucks. Get the VIN from the door panel and the frame rail over the steering axle and post it here. Someone will help with the specs.
  2. Pardon our ignorance, but what does RSA stand for ?
  3. I thought we usually meet at the Watts tent at high noon on Saturday?
  4. How is the rubber on the trans mounts? You could also drop the drive shaft, start it up, and listen to the trans turning in different gears. Use a stethoscope if you have one.
  5. Rob, Have you looked at the rears? I've seen a chipped ring or pinion transmit the noise all the way to the trans and out the stick like a tuning fork. It's worth pulling the covers for a look.
  6. Can meet in Macungie 6-18 or anytime in North Carolina. Call David 919-932-3344 24/7 Thanks
  7. Check to see that both of your heater hose valves are completely closed. I'm running 47 degrees at the vents on 90 degree days and I haven't checked the charge yet this season.
  8. Trent, I'd agree with ya. I'd also add the KW W's. Why can't Mack see the success of these companies and the auto companies with their retro cars and bring back a version of the Superliner?
  9. I think it looks like a cousin of the new Cat truck.
  10. The show and the trip home must have worn Rob out. He's been AWOL for 3 days now.
  11. Looks like "Spanky and the gang "
  12. I'll look for that place next time I'm there. That exit is rt 17 to the east and old 17 (Court street) to the west. My early days riding in a truck with my father, I remember the truck stop known as "Hawks" before TA took it over.
  13. I'm sure the lack of DOT today had nothing to do with this decision.
  14. Mark, Where did you load or unload in Binghamton? That's where I grew up.
  15. That body does look like the type for loading "lugger" containers. I've also seen them used for loading spools of wire or pipe. In this case I believe it was used for setting septic tanks. (That's what it says on the door)
  16. This truck was in South Bend. No pusher axle. Yaworski name and dot number on the door. NJ historic plate on the front bumper.
  17. What a great show. Rob was like a kid in a candy store. Met a number of other members and even with late afternoon rain still had a great day.
  18. What size are the tires?
  19. Put a test light on the switch. If it goes out on the power out side the problem is the switch or lack of air. If there is no power to the switch then the problem is the breaker.
  20. Great pictures. What are you bringing to Macungie this year?
  21. You are one of the most respected resources on Mack trucks and Heavy Hauling known to man. Thank you for everything you contribute.
  22. I ask about the second air cleaner and Mr Yaworski said he didn't like them because they restrict how far the door opens.
  23. Where are you in NC?
  24. The last time I saw that truck was in Macungie about five years ago. It had about 28 thousand miles on it. Mr Yaworski said he added the big bunk so his wife could go to shows with him.
  25. Is this dinner show on Friday or Saturday? You all have may number.
