I have been getting up to Ct. alot here lately and have friends who work with me who have step deck trailers and I maybe purchasing a new one myself in August. Currently I have a flatbed that stands 5 ft off the ground. AS long as the truck isn't over 10 feet 6 inches one of my buddies could haul it. However it would have to go through my company Cardinal transport out of Coal City IL. because of insurance and of coarse the D.O.T. I would love to help btu will warn you ahead of time Cardinal can be a pain in the butt. Best of luck.
