Ran an E7 in a 1989 Superliner for years and it was turned way up(it would pound the ground). We bought the truck in 1992, overhauled it in 1999, and put a new set of bearing and oil pump in it in 2008 and it still runs great!!

thanks. this is in an mr688s truck.

antbody have any tips or tricks with an e7 engine. i never owned a mack engine before.

thanks

I have several of these e-7's in MR's and have put several together for my farming customers...... pretty reliable setup, most of the ones i've sold have Auto's behind them. with a little pump "tweakig" they will pound pavement very nicely!!!! keep them clean (oil, radiator, air filter, etc.) just common sense stuff.... Not much for tips or tricks beside pump mods, or even larger injectors. Tons of experience with them ... if it at all misses immediately replace your injectors. otherwise pretty bullet proof motor.

Chris
