Two more photos, hope they help. I can relay the question, but unfortunately, these two guys "in the know" would rather break a 10.00X20 tire than to be on a computer...

The setup works just fine, pulling a 16,000 lb. camper for years.

Hi, is there any way you could find out for me if that B75 in the picture has a factory power steering column for that shepherd box or is the column out of something else?

RC,

This is said to be factory power steering.

Happy New Year Everybody!

Thanks Scott for the helpful pictures!! Unfortunitly I don't have the power steering box. I have regular armstrong steering. I was doing a little measuring and I think it'll be really close. The problem will come when I try to unscrew the filter closest to the cab. On the way down it may hit the gear box. Was a little concerned about using short filters due to lack of filtering. I have been reading through the service manual and have found using an oil pressure control valve that mounts to the engine block designed for the ESI engine application with an engine having piston coolers will work using the older full flow/by-pass duplex filter arrangement. The important thing to watch is that the pressure control valve is designed for an engine with piston coolers so the ports are there as needed for the 676 piston cooled engine. And the proper gasket is used to allow oil to flow where needed. So now I'm looking for a pressure control valve off an early engine first developed with piston coolers. If anyone can help please let me know. Marc
