I have a 1960 H model. I have constant air to brake chamber. truck is not equipt w/spring brakes. I replaced quick release valve. pedal valve seems to be working properly. any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks: fastwolff

Check the trolley valve. Some trucks, especially if it was originally a straight truck, had the trolley plumbed to activate the drive axle brakes.

Also, check my latest post regarding a "WAGNER brake component". This may relate to your problem. My brakes were working OK but that component was installed between the reservoir and the drive axle service chamber.

An answer has been posted on the "Mystery Component" thead. If your H has the same moisture separator as my F, a defect in this component could cause an air leak to the chamber.
