i am new to the mack world and have a problem with the transmission switching into high range. I had a bad air leak in the splitter valve so i replaced it. i now have reverse in high range but it still grinds when i take off. any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site!

First check to see that the out put yoke bolt is tight on the trans! If so then you likly have a shift fork that is worn or a worn syncro pack this can be repaired in the truck but you will likly have

to go to the dealer to have it done as it requires special tooling.
