Cool stuff Trent.

Way back(late 70's) I had a 1/87 Transtar COE truck/trailer that I drilled and put headlights into(all metal-like a matchbox) and put the batteries in the trailer. Cool to play with on the old train set at "night". This had true 18 wheels on it also, not "super singles" LOL! Wish I still had it.

I am into HO scale model railroading actually we are building a 5000sq ft model railroad in Nolensville TN. I have more HO scale trucks than locos I like the light I am guessing you used a single led and fiberoptics they look good I have two of those B model cement mixers. Ryan

The Trucks have a singel LED under the cab and have Fiber optics to the head lights and cab roof. The Trailes have 2 Leds one for red and the otherfor amber. The mixers have the led hidden under the drum. all have to be hard wired. I have about 5 R model Mixers, 3 R model with doubles and a few with 40' trailers that I will be listing soon. If anyone is intrested drop me an email and I will sell direct.

I also model in HO scale also. I have a small layout at home and belong to this club http://www.emrrc.org/

Its one of the largest in the Chicago aera. Some of us will run 100+ car trains without any trouble of holding up the other members on the layout. its basicly a 2 train mainline with a few spots of single track. I do alot of scenery work over the winter months when things slow down. Heres a few vids of the trains I run down there.

I have got to get back to Chicago to check out the HO layout in the Museum of Science and Industry. My mom is from Chicago and my grandparents and uncle lived in Hammond IN till about 6 years ago. I also like to run long trains the layout in Nolensville is The L.A.&SL the era is late 50's early 60's I have a set of 3 SD-24's to run there but I model modern CSX and UP trains when I can. Ryan

I don't think those are OFF TOPIC at all. Politics is off topic.

Sharp looking trucks Trent. They look great.

Nice work man. I bet you'll have no problem at all selling them.

I will post a list if I get them and let em go cheap right now I have offered $5 a truck they retail for around $25. Ryan

Wow..........still love model railroading even thought I don't have a layout anymore.

I'm hooked on 7 1/2" scale stuff now(though can't afford it either LOL! ). Local group has a set up at a local state park that has public runs a couple times a year. Just another money pit LOL!!!!

let me know about the 1/87 macks Ryan. Very intrested in B and R model tandem tractors

I like your dash9s. Im kinda lucky to live near Chicago as I see alot of RR all over the US come thru here. I get to see the UP every time im down at the club. The UP mainline into the old C&NW Chicago yard is 20 feet from our front door. a freight train every 20-30 mins and a commuter every hour to1/2 hour. I model mostly ICRR and CNW in the late 1940s-50s steam diesel transistion era. Trent
