i have a 1980 mack r685s with stud pilot standard wheels. i want to upgrade to 385/65r22.5 tires which require 12.25x22.5 wheels. there are several options offsets & insets.

does anyone know the proper wheel to get that will fit this truck??? i contact a major tire & wheel distributor in my area and they were'nt sure???

Don't know the whole answer but, depends on the clearance around the bumper/ fender.

also, if you go aluminum, make sure you get LONGER studs

Success is only a stones throw away.................................................................for a Palestinian

Where are you located? If you're in WI I could give you contact info for the tire & rim expert that helps me on such matters.

.

i am from pennsylvania.

OK got an answer from alcoa. very informative people. thanks for the assist ppl.
