I found an 87 Freightliner with a fresh overhaul and I mean FRESH with no miles on it along with that they also had the fuel lines and fuel tanks cleaned and replaced. My previous employer owns it and it's been sitting for the past 3 years. Sure it'll need tires on it but it's a clean truck. They are gonna talk it over and go from there. This truck isn't being advertised at all and I may be able to get it for cheap and I mean CHEAP! I got to go back Tuesday and get some more info on it and agree on a price then.

I understand price is a big issue for you, but, why an '87 or Fruitloop even. Get a :mack1:

Looking back at the pic I see it now. I knew it would be a matter of time before you did a photoshop.

Nice looking truck though, and clean.Set back front axle.I like it.You'll probly get a new mattress anyway.

When I get the truck I'm gonna see if I can have the shop at St. Louis go through and give me a list of what I need to do to it to get it dot ready for the road.

Thank ya, I plan on keeping it the way it is,with just a few custom touches, like bigger tires and wheels,a bigger bumper, bigger stacks, and maybe a drop visor. Then i'll decorate the interior to my liking-I love fuzzy steering wheel covers, bigger radios, and 400 watt linears!

Now that I like! Makes me want to get some aluminum wheels for her now.

I still like the red ones best, but hey, it's your truck.
