I'm losing 1.5 - 2 gals of coolant/day. Coolant is spitting out overflow/ reserve cap. Truck isn't overheating. Does this mean head gasket or cracked head?

When I had that problem the head gasket on the air compressor was bad, sending compressed air into the coolant system causing all sorts of coolant push problems...ended up with air bubbles in the coolant system, sometimes getting 'stuck' wherever the temp is read causing the gauge to spike and to shut the motor down.

Before you tear the lids off the motor, try bypassing the coolant lines to the compressor.

Ever wonder how a blind person knows when to stop wiping?
