Hi guys,

Long time browser, first time poster on this forum. My grandfather has an old '42 mack firetruck that has been sitting for about 15 years, we'd love to see it running again restored to it's previous glory, but we're not sure what it'll take, or if we'll have the financial ability to give it what it deserves. Right now she sits kinda rough.

All my aunts and uncles and family friends remember taking rides on her and if we do have to sell her we want to make sure she gets the love she deserves and doesn't end up in the scrapyard.

Thanks for the welcome and the wealth of info that you all provide.

Tim
