I know everyone here has read the "Diesel Gypsy"'s stories on his website (now back up,http://www.thedieselgypsy.com/). He's the greatest truck driver ever,in my opinion-and that's saying something.

Today he sent me some pictures of the "Moon River Bridge" story-what it looks like today. He made a trip in his car down to Toronto last week and stopped and took these pictures for me, so I thought i'd share some of them.

The top of the first picture shows the road the grader that pulled them out came down.

The next is the old Bailey bridge they crossed-still there.

The next picture is the north end of the old trail,after they crossed the river.

The last two are of where Larry's Tavern used to be. It was bulldozed when they put the 4-lane in.

The story took place 54 years ago. I was born 54 years ago too.Time sure flys!
