So your tire already has 78% nitrogen in it already.I've always thought for the cost it was prohibitive in automobile use. Conventional compressed air is free in most places. Aircraft usage is a different story and it is a very useful gas in tires, struts, and cylinders used at altitude as it is very stable and dry. The pressure differential is far less from the expansion/contraction rate of pure nitrogen, rather than the typical mixture found at ground, or sea level.
