No CDL is required to use the PA antique tag. You are also restricted to hauling only personal items (not for profit). I don't think PA allows trailers to have an antique tag so those using trailers behind a tractor with antique tags may possibly be risking a ticket.

Also PA antique tags do not require a PA state annual inspection, but are restricted to daytime driving only. If you have a classic plate- you are required to pass inspection (but no emissions) and can drive the unit at night.
