Hi my name is Debbie and I work for a mobile heavy equipment technician. I have been asked help find specs on valve leash adjustment for a Mack E6 672 4VH 6 cylinder diesel engine. Can anyone tell me maybe where I can find some information on this engine or offer me any advice. I have searched and searched and can't find a thing.

Thanks in advanced

One more stupid question I guess this is on a CH model which I guess it a truck model? But what is the engine model that I look up? I guess the engine is made by Mack but is the engine model a CH or is that the E6 672?

On the 4 valve engines that I've been around there is an ID plate on one of the valve covers with that info.

E6 is the engine family, followed by the horsepower rating.

The E6 4 valve engine was produced thru 1989 or so, then the E7 was introduced about 1990, so depending on what year that CH model is, it could be an E6 or an E7.
